    Re: The OS Golfer's Thread!

Going to Orlando in May with my Dad to golf with his brother. Should be a good trip.

My question is, better to FedEx the clubs to my Uncle's house or check them with the airline. It's $25 cheaper to check them, but I have layovers of 45 minutes and 1 hour. It makes me nervous to have 2 short connections.

It would suck to go on a golf trip and have them lose my clubs.

Going to the range today, first time picking up a club since December. I'm hoping that the courses start opening up last week of March, first week of April. Still snow on the ground and in the 30's.

The golf course down my street is the first golf course to open in Connecticut. They opened this past week, but I haven't managed to go yet.

Went out Thursday and Friday and have a 2:30 tee time today. This will be the last one before leaving for Myrtle on Wednesday. Swing feels really good right now mainly due to be able to play a couple days in a row.

                            Nicely done, Flight!

I played yesterday - shot 80; not terrible, had 31 putts which is a great start. Working on getting more compression on my shots - starting to really make a difference with my starting lines. Just realized I will need to hang up the Mizuno irons as they are not matching my swing or build - so have to find some of my previously used GIGAGOLF clubs at my parent's garage - or I can sell something and buy some new ones!

Can't wait to get back out. Very tempting to do it tomorrow after church!

92 today on an overcast windy day. Not bad. Missed 4 shoulda been birdies that would have changed my round. But inconsistent putting is the name of my game. My driver saved my butt. Only missed 3 fairways all day

82, 41 on each side. had a stretch of 5 hole par streak on the front, and rolled off 4 pars to end the round too. 8 bogies and 1 double. Played good, gave a few birds away with a poor short game... All in all though great way to start the year off
