These aren't working for me, any idwa how long they last? Also is it just the wording you enter or the 600 vc as well. Nothing seems to work.��

Just tried them myself, and none worked either...I just saw them in a tweet while at work, and assumed they'd be just like the others.

EDIT - just saw that others did try them earlier today and they DID work, but they were possibly not supposed to have been made public. Guessing that's the case, since they don't work now.

I was watching Apex play the demo on Legend difficulty and it made me realize that the strategy of doing a light draw/fade against your bias to get the swing plane close to straight makes the swing easier than intended and probably needs to be fixed at launch. Just make any shaping against your bias immediately snap the diagonal line in the opposite direction and it should fix the exploit, I think that's how TW14 handled it.

Totally off topic here but the EA PGA thread is dead...is it just me, or is there now new intro music for the EA game, and a few other subtle changes? Has anyone seen/read about them tickling with the game during this 2k rollout?

I played the game a few weeks ago as a bit of a send-off after 2K25 was announced, just checked it again today and everything seems to same to me. Same intro cutscene, same beautiful intro music (maybe you didn't stay on the "Press Any Button" screen long enough to hear it before?), then same Ryder Cup music when I enter in and same music after it that they never fixed from looping for infinity.

Apex showed in his vid that Tiger Woods is 85 overall in the game. Wasn't he 99 overall when they did the rating reveals on twitter? He shouldn't be 99 unless it's a classic version of him, honestly. Or if there's a way to level up the pros? A 99 rated player seems like it would break career mode, regardless.

Update: I asked Respawn on his stream about this and he said the preview build they played had bugged player OVRs. Tiger will be 99 in the game.

In the pause/profile menu, go to the "Settings" section, there's an option at the bottom of the list to "Redeem Locker Code". You type the codes in there, and make sure they are all caps, all one word.

Respawn did a deep dive into the "nerdy" side of the game in this stream he did last night. He took a look into the skill trees, attributes, archetypes, shot types, fittings, clubs etc.

Posted in the EA thread, too, but this was also my experience when booting up EA on PS5 just now. Nothing changed for me.

Anyone else having trouble getting the XBox version to run now? It keeps telling me that the game is offline, even though my XBox is running PGA TOUR 2K23 with no problem.

Not a fan of the new swing stick mechanics. Perhaps when I level up my character and clubs things will get better. Why do we have to choose between hook and fade? Why not just let me hit straight and bend the shot if I want to?

I'll buy the game but some of this wasn't necessary.

I think they're trying to (correctly) reflect that high level golfers generally do not hit the ball straight except by accident. Their stock swing is always a draw or a fade.

Looks great plays great. I hear the game will be harder than the demo. Hopefully that is true. I am having a blast playing as a 65 OVR. Looks to me that the game will be far too easy and not punishing enough when you can get some of these shot types. There needs to be a penalty for short siding yourself and you need to be locked in to certain weaknesses when you choose a particular archetype. Seems after reaching a certain level any future archetype you choose will be able to use a "locked" shot type. Bunker pick is locked to Technician at first not down the road.

Game looks great and the swing is fantastic. Can't wait to see what the community can do with the designer.

what do you mean the game will be harder than the demo. the difficulty is the difficulty. i would bet you still have it on perferect swing.
