Strange. Both played in 720 and 1080 for me in Chrome. Weird that it only seems to affect Firefox.

Re: iRacing after 2+ years
Is anyone running NiS tonight? No racing for me for a few days. The back on my chair decided to break Tuesday, so I can't run very many laps before I end up falling backwards. Hopefully my new chair will get here quickly.Comment

Re: iRacing after 2+ years
Yeah, I don't get it. I did a bunch of searching on it last night and found a few people who had the same thing happened, but I never did find a solution. Guess I'll stick with OBS for now as it seemed to work fine.

Re: iRacing after 2+ years
I did not race tonight, but I watched a couple streams from top split when I got home a few minutes ago and they were hilarious. So much rage and a real crap show of a race. There was even inter-stream rage between RutgersKev and Abrams. Hilarious!
I'll probably race Sunday, but we'll see. I despise this track on iRacing.Comment

Re: iRacing after 2+ years
Both seem to hate Bristol, which I agree with. I hate races where you can't pass. It's basically gotten to the point where I almost never even try to pass because I know if I get stuck on the bottom and can't make the pass I'll get freight-trained by everyone on the top behind me unless I can sneak back in line.Comment

Re: iRacing after 2+ years
Thanks, I'll have to give it watch at some point.
Really hoping dynamic tracks will help with the passing at tracks like Bristol. I'm still pessimistic that it will help, especially with the short races most series are, but who knows. I know they made that video not long ago, but it'd be nice if iRacing could give us more information.Comment

Re: iRacing after 2+ years
So thanks to the other thread, I decided to add up what I've spent on iRacing subscriptions/cars/tracks/hosted sessions.
Spoiler$1446.65 is the answer. And that doesn't include computer parts and wheels/pedals/other sim racing items. Of course that's also over 5 or 6 years, so only a few hundred a year, which considering how expensive subscriptions used to be and how much content I own, it really doesn't seem too bad.Comment

I can not wait for dynamic tracks

Well I ordered my Oculus Rift DK2 today. I'm going to be transitioning from a three monitor setup. I'm really excited because I know it will enhance the immersion.Comment

Re: iRacing after 2+ years
Man did I have a horrible night last night. Did 2 races in K&N. Both were just wreck fest. SR drop from 3.9 to 3.6. Then went to the carb cup to run the Chevy SS. That was even worse SR went down to 3.45. Started with an irating of 1150 went down to 950. Thinking to myself how much worse can Bristol be then so I took a chance ran the fixed truck race at Bristol and after that race SR was back up to 3.75 and irating back up to 978. Ugh not Avery good night but I was very shocked on how much cleaner the Bristol race was. I was not expecting that. Lol.

Re: iRacing after 2+ years
I've tried OBS (think is the name of it) I never could find a way to increase quality of recordings and default quality for me seemed pretty bad.

Re: iRacing after 2+ years
Just finished up a truck race at Bristol. Finished 8th in the top split thanks to some luck at the end. Only 17 cars, but I was #14 so I'll take it. I did remember to record it so I'll post the YouTube link once it's done upload and processing so you can laugh at my awful driving.Last edited by Chaos81; 08-22-2015, 11:59 PM.Comment

Re: iRacing after 2+ years
For some reason this one doesn't seem to be HD on Firefox just like my earlier video so if you want to watch in HD use something else. Sure wish I could figure out why that is. In any event here's the race mentioned above.
