Yeah, I was watching Abrams stream after my race ended.

You'll get all kinds of entertainment if you go watch the final 80 or so laps of it. Great fun after he got bumped out of the way by car #29 around lap 125 or so.

Looks like my split (5) still hasn't ended. Can't wait to see how it went after I left.

Haha, yeah, when Abrams gets wronged he usually dishes it right back. Looks like he sailed it in there way deep and punted the 29 towards the wall and then all hell broke loose. Then the 25 got loose and moved both himself and Abrams out of the way allowing me to get by both of them on the last corner.

I had 2 1/2 minutes of optional at the race's end. I made a mistake with around 10 to go trying to avoid a wreck and went low when I should have went high, which resulted in me hitting a car and bouncing into the inside pit wall, which really hurt my vehicle.

Yup. And he'd been raging hardcore about wrecking the 29 for the previous 60 laps. Wonder what kind of punishment he'll get, because I'm sure someone will protest him for it.

Definitely going to run the Sunday race, and I might run Saturday if I can get to bed early enough Friday night.

I also just noticed the top split was a 5600+ SOF race. That's pretty impressive.

Drives me nuts when people dish it but can't take it. Like they are better than everyone else.

Wow, just watched the end of of Abram's race at Richmond and I hope people like that get banned from the service. I'm pretty sure he won't because he is so high on the points standings but that is garbage.

Yeah, it was a crazy high SOF. Highest of the year that I've been in, I believe.

I don't really understand why Abrams was so angry. He kind of threw a block on the 29 and the 29 punted him. What the 29 did was wrong, but it happens. There's no need to go ballistic and wreck the guy, IMO.

Pretty sure he should lose that protest. I've never had any issues with him and find him to generally be a good racer to me, so it's unfortunate, but what he did was wrong, IMO. We'll see what happens.

The 29 was definitely being a bit ridiculous, but it doesn't make it right. I'll take the free positions, though.

That's kinda how NASCAR works. Lol sure its against the rules but if someone really don't like it, stick with open wheel. Lol Maybe that's why I love the DW12 so much, actually have to work to pass lol.

I did a lot of practice today at Richmond. I also added the SweetFX for my Oculus Rift and it made a world of difference. I was able to get some good runs in, running about 21.5-21.7 for those stints. Not a world beater but if I can keep it clean it will do me well. I will probably do the noon race tomorrow.

Yeah, but as the iRacing rules of conduct are, intentionally wrecking a guy is 100% against the rules and it's really obvious what Michael did. It's hard to sugarcoat it.

I probably wouldn't protest it personally, as I have never filed a protest since I joined, but I think if someone did he would lose the protest.

I will admit, I haven't seen video of what Exactly you guys are referring too. So maybe more blatant then I'm assuming. Lol

Even if he wasn't high in the points I doubt iRacing would ban him. Maybe things have changed, but in the past it would take iRacing a long time to ban guys. They just suspend them instead.

There's gotta be some kind of past history there I'd think. Or maybe he was having a bad day. I've watched quite a few of his races lately, and while he gets annoyed, I've never seen him come close to getting that angry.

On a brighter note, it looks like Nurburgring is going to be released in November. I've never been a huge fan of the track, but it should still be fun to try.

Hopefully you can get it to work.

James I ran about the same lap time as you for qualifying but seeing as I am a lot lower iRating it will be interesting to see how far up the field I start. I am not anticipating a very good race with my lower iRating. I hope I can keep the car clean and get in some good green flag runs.

First career win! Not sure how to take it since it was a week 13 street stock with a SOF of 1100, but given I was under 1100 when it started, not bad. Lead wire-to-wire. I love me an open setup. Let's you take advantage of a lot more than the fixed setup, especially at Charlotte where you're just on the gas the whole time.
