    Grondar:

Well, if you like speed, bro, you'll be on the gas at 225-230 almost the entire race at Indy outside of cautions and pit stops, so maybe ICS 2005 is your game!

    Take care,

Well, I certainly think it is. The game is just IRL, so you'll only race on ovals. So if you're an F1 or CART fan, this game might not suit you.

But the driving and racing models are excellent -- classic Codemasters stuff.

So, basically the latest NASCAR racing game, albeit different cars. I'll pass.

Not exactly, at least from a strategic standpoint. While I agree that some might not like racing "left" all the time, there are big differences in the tracks.

Strategy wise, you have more options on an IRL car than a Nascar. Fuel Mixture and weight jacker for one.....

Also the IRL cars are much more faster, maneuverable, and you have to race a lot cleaner than in a stockcar.

Too each his own, but I'll be picking this up!

Hardly. This game features much more realistic handling and racing models than any EA NASCAR game.

I have been looking at some videos on the net of this game, and it seems the phsyics arent quite right. Of all the videos I saw, it seemed like most most of the time the person could either bump the wall or another car with little penalty. I saw them rub their tires on the wall going 230 mph coming out turn 2 at IMS, and all it did was show some sparks and they kept going without much of a dip in speed. Is what I saw correct? or is there some tweaking still going on. I have been to almost everytrack in the US for open wheel, as well as several tracks across the pond to f1 races, and I dont think i have ever seen someone hit the wall at 200+ mph the way the video showed without taking out a wheel or at least bending axle to some degree. Is this more of a sim, or arcade in that respect, allowing the user more room for error. Also, from what I saw, the speeds seemed really high as well. Pole at indy was 222, but the speeds in the movies were averaging well over 230 on the first lap of the race, that includes the turns. I love the way the game seems to feel though, the sense of speed seems dead on as does the dartiness of the cars. This could be great, heres crossing my fingers
