      Re: Indy Series 2005

This game is off the hook online! We were running 20 lap races with AI cars on. We've had massive pile-ups and clean races. Been great! I've had a race where I did all 20 laps and finished 2nd, and a race where I got 10 laps in by pitting 4 times. Haven't even touched the offline mode yet, can't stop playing online. Love it! The controls are great, a little touchy, but that's to be expected.

My only complaints...online, no fuel usage and no way to turn it on. That would have made it just so much better if you had to conserve fuel. There's no reason to run a full race for that reason. And my other complaint is that you can only talk to the 2 nearest cars with you. Basically like Moto GP. That I don't understand since in TOCA you can talk to everyone. Weird.

But for $20, this game CANNOT be beat for online alone. I don't know how good the offline mode is (I'm sure it's excellent) and don't care, online is where it's at.

I could be wrong but fuel usage is available for online play. I was online with it last night and I can remember the guy telling me that I was low on fuel and that I needed to pit, and some of the guys actually ran out of gas during caution.

Fuel usage is available in the pro mode as are mandatory pits. You are racing in the easy or normal mode.

Yeah, this game is a blast, both online and off. The AI cars are the best I've seen in a racing game. They race with each other and crash at times. And the AI adapt feature is cool too. Online is fun as long as you don't run at Richmond. BTW gamertag is Mixdorf
