Yeah, this game is a blast, both online and off. The AI cars are the best I've seen in a racing game. They race with each other and crash at times. And the AI adapt feature is cool too. Online is fun as long as you don't run at Richmond. BTW gamertag is Mixdorf

Yeah, I think it was in normal mode, I wasn't hosting so I don't really know. I know we had a ton of accidents though!

I'm thinking about getting this game fellas.
            Questions:
            1. Is there split screen online play? In other words, can two people play online on the same xbox at the same time?
            2. What's the recommended A.I. level to play on?

            Thanks to those who respond
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

                  1. I do not think there is split-screen online play.

                  2. There is an AI adjust feature were the AI adapts to how well you perform. Pretty nifty.

That sounds all good and nifty, for sure. But this feature was implemented in Grand Prix Legends with out any manual AI adjustment. So if right out of the box you could beat the computer drivers by 2 seconds a lap () then eventually they would get faster than you and you'd end up somewhere around 10th consistently. Is this how ICS2005 is?

Now, I haven't done a 20+ lap race yet - so I may be off for the longer races - but in my races, no. The AI is consistant for the whole race (20 laps) and if you are trailing a car that pulled away from you by 2 seconds, you have to race your butt off to catch him. Two-tenths here, one-tenth there, it will take a couple laps of consistant speedy times to reel that car in.

Again, this might be different on the longer races.
