SSX is bad ***!! Fun game, but yeah first time the nunchucks caused an issue. Some of those uber trick look crazy and hard to do, but i'm sure i'll get it after a day or two playing it.

As far as graphics, my cousin has the component wires and the pictures looks a lot better than the basic wire setup. Atleast you have it wide screen and its a lot sharper.

It seriously took me a few days before I got real comfortable doing the uber tricks and stuff, now I've got it down. I can get 1 million + points of the halfpipe events now that I can do ubers, but I still can't regularly pull multiple ubers off on the same jump very well. I need to do that better to get better Big Air event scores. It's an awesome game.

Capcom: Resident Evil on Wii in 2007, More Wii Announcements Soon

In response to my writeup on Treasure Island Z for Wii, Capcom contacted me to clarify a few points:
        • Capcom announced Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles for Wii at E3, and it is still on track for 2007 release
        • Devil Kings 2 was announced for Wii in Japan, but there has been no announcement of US release plans
        • There are more unannounced games coming in 2007, and "at least one" should be announced in the next few weeks

Just a question here for my fellow Wii owners.
What do you guys use for a controller for the gamecube games? Wave Bird or regular gamecube controller?

The reason why I ask is that I'm wrestling with picking up the Zelda Collectors Edition disc on ebay. It includes the original Zelda, Zelda II, OOT, and Majoras Mask (which I have never played). I do not have internet access so downloading the first three is impossible.

          Has anyone played this version?

I use the original gc controllers since i had extras when i traded in my gc. You cannot go wrong with the zelda collector's edition. I have it and it its great.Being able to replay Zelda II and MM is awesome. Never got a chance to finish MM so this gives me a second go around at it.

I have that collector's disc, it's really good. Nintendo should put more out like that. Because I have that, I only downloaded Link to the Past off of the VC, that way I can play all the console Zelda's on the Wii. Majoras Mask is really fun, it's a little different than other Zelda games though I thought, nice change of pace. It has the same graphics as OoT, which is cool. You play as young Link in it like you do at the beginning of OoT.

I use the Wavebird for the gamecube games, it works perfectly. It's made by Nintendo, so it feels just like the gamecube controllers, it doesn't have that slight third party feel to it if you notice that stuff. The batteries last a long time as well.

Same, it's nice having every Zelda game on the Wii. I use a Wavebird as well, still love that controller.

                  Re: Official Wii Discussion

Shocking news.... another PS2 port is coming to the Wii.

The Wii gets the "wii-mixed" version while the PS3 and 360 get the new Pirates game.

Agatha Christie is coming to the Wii. This game came out in 2005 for the PC.
The Adventure Company porting PC game Agatha Christie: And Then There Were None to Nintendo's console.

I wish Nintendo would put their foot down and stop all these lazy last gen ports. At the same time Nintendo needs all the 3rd party support they can get. If Wii owners ignore these games, I'm sure 3rd parties will once again say Wii owners don't support 3rd Party Games and therefore they will pull their support.

I went to the mall last weekend and Nintendo had a display area. I played Wii Boxing for the first time and lost to a girl that looked like she was about 5 years old. She beat me in about 20 seconds too! LOL

I tried the Zelda demo and the graphics were terrible. On the positive side, there was a big crowd. Outside of myself, I didn't see any adults try the Wii. It was mostly parents letting their kids play the Wii while they watched.

Microsoft's group product manager for Xbox and the Live platform, John Rodman, recently took a stab at it. According to a report by Daily Tech, Rodman insinuated that gamers would outgrow Nintendo's new console just as soon as their voices started to change.

"We don't feel like the Wii customer and the Xbox customer are the same thing," Rodman reportedly said. "We think that as soon as the Wii customer turns 14, they want something else."

Its kinda funny that these types of comments are coming from both Sony and MS, lets see if Nintendo can prove them wrong.

Exactly. And it says something that Sony and MS have to resort to these types of responses.
