thanks. Where is the option to create a HD for use with PS2 games? is the memory card option different or is that it?

It's 2 different things. You have to download the HDD patch off of the PS Store.

        Tekken 5 Hits PS3 Thursday

Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, available in Japan since last December, is finally landing on North American Playstation 3s via the Playstation store.

The downloadable, 800 MB game will sell for about $20 and feature 1080p resolution, but no online play.

Thursday will also bring a free MotorStorm behind-the-scenes video that shows how the game, set to hit stores next week, was designed. The video will include footage from the team's shoot in Utah's Monument Vally and interview with the designers and producer.

Finally, Sony points out that the latest firmware update for your console not only allows you to resize the video chat on your console, but also adds support for all USB video class compliant cameras. That's kinda cool. Must test out the Xbox 360 Vision Camera on the PS3. Brian Crecente
        I was hoping for something more like a GR:AW2 demo and/or a MLB2k7 demo...

Yeah my speeds are usually fast (15-25mins for 550mb file) But Tekken took me an hour and change.

IGN weekly episode: WarHawk, now a online only game no single player.

                    32 players
                    dedicated servers
                    2500 stats
Multi modal: planes/ tanks/ on foot missions

                    Modes:
Capture the Flag, DeatMatch, Team DeatMatch and Territory

One helluva PSN game. They were apparently having difficulty with the game(to ambitious) So now it becomes a Multi player online game.

Check out the IGN Weekly episode 38.

                      Re: Playstation Network and discussion

Count me as another amazingly SLOOWWWW downloader. I have a good 10Mbps download and 1Mbps upload cable connection but with the Playstation Network it just crawls. I think it took a good hour plus for 'Tekken' to download this afternoon.

I'm using the built-in wireless, and have no issues with the downloads on XBL or Wii, but the PSN is just slow! Are there ports that I should open on my router to speed things up?

What kinds of solutions (if there are any) are people finding to help alleviate these achingly slow downloads.

EDIT: I guess I should add that I have the Linksys WRT54GS, set to "Wireless G-Only" and Channel 11. I'm also WPA encrypted, though I have no worries about people stealing my signal since we are the only ones in our new construction area with cable and Wi-Fi.

Just go to the friendlist and select add a friend, now send him an invite, just make sure you spell his name right.

Playing with your PS3 makes you IMPOTENT!

LOL: Japanese man blames SIXAXIS for impotence problem

Unconfirmed reports suggest that a PS3 owner is blaming the SIXAXIS controller for his recent erection problem. After playing with long hours on the PS3 with the controller in his lap, he believes some damage has been caused to his private parts as a result of the bluetooth technology utilized in the controller.

                                quote:

                                --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Aoi Bailee says he can not get an erection anymore. He sayes having his controller in his lap in close proximity to his *** has left him unable to perform. He thinks the controller is sending out a bluetooth frequency that can cause bodly harm.

He has contacted Sony to find out if he is not the only one having problem from the Ps3 controller but has yet to get a responce. Bailee plans on going to the doctor this week to try to get some anwsers.
