Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part III...
I just had a question and thought someone with more knowledge than me about routers and the PS3 might be able to help. That's all. I don't know you or anything about you so I'm not going to judge you or your maturity level. Sorry if my post offended you or pissed you off. I was just looking for some help.Comment

Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part III...
lol, that could happen to me as well. I think I may have an interest in only one game for ps2, gran turismo 4, and also a partial interest in nba live 2005, but that's because I want to make videos of some of the glitches in that game. It'd be nice to have both games look nicer through the ps3 if that makes it work that way.
I still don't think I want to spend $300 compared to less for used ps3's. Do any of you have experience with used ps3's bought from craigslist or elsewhere? Have any of the ps3's broken down or have they been in good shape?
Used PS3's may be hit and miss you know? Kinda like a used car. I bought a used car once that crapped out on me fairly early, but the one I have now has given me over almost 40,00 miles.
Kind of a crap shoot so to speak.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. You may want to try cleaning out the vents. That might help a small bit.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part III...
I bought a gaming router from Dell about 6 months ago. I can't remember what brand it is but I paid about $80 for it and it had pretty good reviews. Anyway, I have my computer and router in the same room as my PS3 and my router connection strength on my PS3 is at 100%, but I still keep experiencing a lot of choppiness and slowdown while playing. Anyone have an idea of why this might be? I have my router hooked directly into my 360 and have had no problems with it. I used to have a Linksys router that was in a different room and it's strength was only 88% and it had the same issues with choppiness and slowdown. I thought I just needed a better router but apparently there's something else causing the problem. By the way, I don't play games online, the choppiness and slowdown occurs mainly when I'm playing MLB 09 & NCAA Football 10 against the cpu, and occasionally while playing CH2K8.Comment

Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part III...
Our content providers requested that we turn off access to our content via the Boxee product, and we are respecting their wishes. So what’s the motivation here? It’s likely that the content owners are objecting to the fact that Boxee makes it easy for users to watch Hulu on their TVs.Comment

Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part III...
crques..do this first. You have to isolate the problem. Try hooking it straight to the router with a network cable. If it still has problems, one thing that worked for me when I was having problem getting updates was to disable the Media Server Connection. You can find it in Settings>Network Setting. I actually still don't know what that does.Comment

So my 2 year old HP laptop has died. In it is a 120gb HD. Should I be able to remove it from the laptop and install in my PS3?"Never trust a big butt and a smile."-Ricky Bell
