I could do that, guys you need to understand, this system was suppose to be it, now I have to send it in for a fix already, just not cool in my eyes.

It really depends. Even consoles that haven't had the issues that the 360 has become infamous for have had defective histories. Any time you buy an electronic there is at least a small chance that something about it won't work or will stop working.

Given Microsoft's track record with the 360 system so far it may not be unfair to criticize them for it, but you could just be unlucky.

a little of both..bad luck and MS I myself will never buy a new one again from them,just gonna keep fingers crossed on my arcade version with 20 gb HD I bought for 10 bucks at a yard sale..dont play it that much,have had 3 of em shipped numerous time....have had ps3 since day one no isssues...but the new one does catch my eye everytime I m in best buy....good luck FF

My 60gb ps3 died on me a week ago. Sony hasn't acquired the infamy this generation that Microsoft has, but these things do happen.

My current 360 is a couple years old, refurbished and out of warranty. Which prompted me to go out and buy the new xbox 360 yesterday to avoid losing out on any potential return I can get on my (now) old one. I'm loving the new 360 with it's black finish, touch sensitive buttons, and quietness.

Yep, but mine started out with just horizontal lines through the whole screen, so I couldn't see hardly anything on the display. Then it just stopped working period. I was going to wait for Gamestop to get another shipment in, as the manager said mine would be the first one in... long story short, they got 9 in, I took mine in, and they said that they wouldn't take it, as it had been 30 days or some BS, and I'd have to send it to MS. Now I'm waiting on it.
