Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Looks like no NCAA 14, madden 25, NHL 14 for vita this year. At least FIFA is coming out and hopefully NBA 2k14...Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Realistically, only Madden is a surprise. Don't forget that EA stopped making NHL and NCAA for the PSP several years ago, and the PSP had a larger installed user base than the Vita. They did keep making a version of Madden every year, so that omission is telling (though I also didn't see anything about a Wii or WiiU version, and I would be surprised if they bypass both of those systems).Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
I'm getting pretty darn upset with the lack of support for Vita. I blame Sony. Sony reminds me of John McCain..."here we are, hope you buy this, but if not, I guess it's ok, because the competition is pretty good too, so maybe you would rather just play games on your phones." Sony is backing Vita about as strongly as he ran his campaign.
It's ridiculous that there won't be NCAA Football on Vita. Sony should tell EA that if they want to publish for PS3, they have to put out for Vita as well. Vita is an amazing system, but we have yet to get a decent fps and the only decent rpg is P4G. The bungling of Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed Liberation set the system back. It seems as if Sony wants the system to fail. The Show and a handful of solid fighting games have justified my purchase, but Vita reminds me of a pretty fat girl who needs to do just a little bit of exercise to look fantastic.Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Two questions:
1. What's the best way to clean the Vita?
2. I travel for work and have noticed recently that when trying to watch Netflix or do anything that requires an Internet connection, that the Vita simply doesn't respond. Now, this could very well be tied to being in a hotel and not having a strong connection, but all those apps work just fine on my laptop.Currently Playing:

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
1. Just wipe it off with a microfiber cloth
2. I found that wifi has suffered after one of the moderately recent updates, I think they probably turned the power down to the wifi in the Vita to save battery life, but it really has hurt the wifi connection. I was having wifi issues, games would fail to connect, etc, after one of the updates a few months ago. After basically power sycling everything in my house (delete wifi ID from vita, turn off vita, power cycle router, turn Vita back on, reconnect) it improved so I can at least connect to some of these things, but wifi connection strength is extremely low (lower than anything else in the house) and it can take some time to get over some sticky spots in the connection. For instance, loading a web page, sometimes it will just stop transferring in the middle of loading a page (you can see the data usage thing stop) and it can take 30 seconds to a minute or so to start back up. It's pretty much ruined the browser for the Vita, since it won't display anything until the full page loads, feels like I'm on a 14.4 modem. Only thing I can figure is a problem with signal strength, it does have quite a weaker connection than previously, and a much weaker connection than anything else I connect to the same hotspot.Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Since you said it works on your laptop, did you have to go through any sort of web portal to be able to connect to the internet? Lots of places like hotels and airports have that. Because you'll have to do the same thing on Vita if the answer is yes, and the Vita does have its own web browser built-in so you'll be able to do this.Currently Playing:
