Got mine...but working on the system transfer. GameStop didn't have internet at their place, so I had to sweet talk them to let me take my old 3DS home to do the transfer. Kind of a pain.

The new screen size really does make a difference. Haven't had a chance to try any DS games on it, but I may try Chinatown Wars on it to see how they look. This is what they should've released to begin with.

 Re: Nintendo 3DS

Think I'll be coming home with a 3DS XL tonight- thank you Best Buy trade-in! The 100% bonus is a nice one for those like myself lacking in consistent...well,any...income. However, has anyone played Ocarina of Time on a 3DS XL yet?

Not going to lie, that's my primary reason for the upgrade from my soon-to-be-former 3DS (to play that game in 3D on a bigger screen)...any hiccups I should be aware of before I drop some coin?Last edited by RedZoneD25; 08-29-2012, 03:07 PM.Comment

Animal Crossing 3DS: North American Release Window Announced

Animal Crossing 3DS: New DetailsOn the heels of announcing a November 8, 2012 release date for Japan, Nintendo has just revealed, via Twitter, that it intends to bring the next Animal Crossing installment to North America in the first half of 2013. Though the subsidiary has released trailers before, this is the first time we've been given a concrete estimate of the game's release outside of Japan.

Titled Animal Crossing: Jump Out overseas, the 3DS game, which has no formal title in North America, will feature more customization than ever before, ranging from clothing options to the hours of stores throughout the town.

<iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/aEW5iHjvPaw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>Brewster is back and ready to serve you a relaxing cup of coffee, and that the nervous pup Booker will have his own Lost and Found shop. Yay for stealing people's lost stuff! The game will also allow players to choose which shops they'd like to build and what time those shops will open, as well as to build bridges, wells and other structures to enhance the look of their town.

It's also been confirmed that you'll be able to alter the color of your furniture, and the trailer showed off the depth of the game's house customization by revealing a few of the different doors and exteriors you can choose from. The clothing design mechanic from Animal Crossing: Wild World is also back, but it looks like it will be more like it was in AC: City Folk where you could customize the front, back and sleeves of your outift. The new game will also allow you to exchange designs with friends by way of QR codes.

As if Booker's rise in society weren't enough of a revelation, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata confirmed via Twitter that the game will receive it's own dedicated Nintendo Direct in the near future.

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon Release Window Revealed

Nintendo of America announced via Twitter that Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon will be arriving in North America during the first quarter of 2013 (by the end of March, in other words). This news comes just two weeks after the company confirmed the 3DS title was being delayed from Holiday 2012 to the first half of 2013.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Animal Crossing is what I've been waiting for! I won't trade my Zelda3DS in but "may" grab a new 3DS for the bigger screen. We'll see...Joshua:

That's cool but damn the second analog should of been a part of the XL to support the games that use the CPP. I don't think it would split the user base.Comment
