Am I excited, NOT AT ALL. I think the damage has been done already. I mean really, a big company Like Sony should have had better protection from this.

Yup, I should.

Also, one of the main reasons I used my PS3 was for movies I downlaoded, I used to be able to watch after downloading. I can't even do that anymore, I get a error message 3 minuets into any movie I download and copy to my Hard Drive. This is Killer for me Right now.

If you are talking about movies downloaded directly from PSN then I'm pretty sure everything will sort itself out as I am currently watching last years PS3 E3 Press Conference and have had no issues... now if you're talking about movies downloaded from the internet and then played through your own Hard Drive I would need to let you know this weekend how I fared, as I do have a couple of movies that don't seem to want to play audio when watching on my laptop, so I'm going to give the PS3 a try at playing them.

Watching DVD rips and Blu Rays were the only main uses I had for my PS3.

Then stop using bootleg movies.

The entire reason we're in the mess is not just "Sony not being fully secure", but also because people insist on ****ing around with the OS, and now, obviously, hacking the system.

Use the PS3 as intended by Sony, and there won't be any problems.

for you able to get to the store, how are downloads going? slow, stopping? any updates would be great, im stuck at work right now, have to wait till im off to turn on the psn store
