Tethering your phone means you can use the internet from your phone on your Xbox. So if all you need to do is be on long enough to check in then tethering your phone is the best option if you are someone who travels or has no internet access. It might sound complicated, but a lot easier than you think. They have said it on Twitter and one of the guys in an interview also stated tethering as an option.

Re: Xbox One
And Fevers way wasn't any extra buttons. It was move stick to where you wanted to throw ball and and trigger throws it. You could throw to anywhere on the field which led to natural overthrows/under throws etc.. and not a roll of the dice.
It was the most fullfilling experience when you had a good passing game. Wasn't perfect but not far from a great system.
Point is we should have options by now. That's all I'm asking for.Last edited by Skyboxer; 06-17-2013, 04:53 PM.Joshua:

Re: Xbox One
Well hopefully it wouldn't have to be because of something like that lol. The line play needs a lot of work to be done, but they are at least starting to work on that. I expect it to be a lot better next year. Madden 25 will be improved slightly, but I look for it to be much better next year.Comment

Re: Xbox One
But yeah you can tether your mobile or laptop devices internet to your xbox now really. So there is always that option.
(im assuming the controller comment was for the other guys, however I do get nostagic from time to time)

It was part of Major Nelson's Angry Joe interview and I know Ive read it in one or two of the anonymous Xbox employee posts.

Re: Xbox One
Why are you making "low blows". You are basically announcing to OS that your are just trolling the guy. You seen the 6 or so posts that lead after your low blow that were unneeded in response to your little comment. I think this is part of why a solid discussion on the flaws in the MS model can't be had here. One side has to always get offended and make jabs.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Doc come on man, that is such a baited question.
Many of the complaints with the X1 are unneeded that is the main problem. Give me all the new features of the X1, don't force the kinect on me, don't remove used games, and don't require internet and you got a bitch free console. Basically give me a better 360 with more power and more options to grow the console.

I see it more as a discussion and debate on the topic. Plenty on both sides are logical in their responses, it is just a couple that go beyond that.Comment

Re: Xbox One
I've preordered the PS4 and have taken a wait and see approach regarding the X1. Putting aside the restrictions, my other concerns with them is just not that they're competing against Sony regarding games, but they're also competing against Google, Apple, and Samsung regarding their entertainment services. Seems like there's stiff competition all the way around. I'm not sure what the competition has up their sleeve but I'm sure they're going to want to have a piece of the market.
Also, when PSN was hacked and out for a few weeks I was still able to play games on the PS3. If Live is hacked (and please don't say Live can't ever be hacked) what would happen? Would this stop you from playing?
If they do well, and many are happy I'll probably be on-board. However, they seem to be bumbling on many of their decisions lately. I'll wait and see.
Thanks for all the feedback in this forum. It was useful.Comment

Re: Xbox One
SpoilerHonestly the only win I can see from them is the contracts or whatever was made between these 3rd parties who are going to use this "kinect data". I don't see any other main winning point on making this uphill battle for themselves.Last edited by Phobia; 06-17-2013, 05:10 PM.Comment
