I like playing new game franchises and sequels to great IP's, especially when they get better and better graphically, physics, and AI.

I don't get by "more" out of a console people are clamor in for?

That is what I am asking.
I'm with you on that. I think though that much of the "more" rests on developers and not the actual console. Sports gaming is an excellent example of this. Both current-gen consoles have the capacity to play a baseball game, but one console was able to get better results. That wasn't due to either console but one particular developer.

At this point, developers have to step up and start utilizing thee machines to make a leap in gameplay. That is not to say some aren't. i'm really excited to see what happens with Frostbyte and Battlefield this gen. Also, devs like Rockstar will probably once again deliver some impressive things.

I even think EA Sports might do something special with this Ignite stuff! yes..I said it!
Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.

That's why I mentioned IP...I want to wait to hear more about the new IP...there's a lot unannounced for PS4 IMO, so I want proof of their IP's. As of now MS has announced some new IP that interests me more than Knack and Killzone...

I know that Sony has more info coming though, so want to hear if Naughty Dog or other devs have other PS4 exclusives.

It's a given that they will. Naughty Dog, Quantic Dream, SCEA Santa Monica, Polyphony Digital and the other first-party studios will all have PS4 exclusives.

How long it is until we see them is the real question. I don't expect much from launch titles, though. Launch titles are normally games that I wouldn't pick up from the bargain bin. It's why, even if I do pick up a PS4... it probably won't be for 6+ months after release, unless my fiance comes home with one some day just to surprise me.

Yeah, I just want concrete info...I think I'll like the PS4 exclusives better, but need to weigh all the pros/cons for me and my gaming lifestyle (which is different than when I was single lol).

              Thanks for the answers guys.

As for me, I buy mainly used games so I won't be getting a PS4 or Xbox One for at least 18 months after launch.....by that time they will be established and my choice should be easy!

Remember how hard Sony was pushing the motion controls with Lair? Ugh those weren't really helpful on any game.

60 FPS and 64 players on Battlefield 4 is what did it to me. Outside of Battlefield 4, I don't see very many games that I feel like I've got to have.

Ryse sold me on the XboxONE, it was the best looking game at E3. As much as I hoped it would, the PS4 had no games that peeked my interest, their launch lineup is super weak.

I'm going to get the Xbox One eventually, probably whenever the new Halo is released, since I have friends that will still get it for that.

I'm mainly concerned about the Kinect and all the stuff that was just revealed today about what kinds of data Microsoft willingly gave the FBI/NSA for the prism program (pre-encryption access to emails, then when that wasn't enough - encryption keys for emails/chats, full audio/video of conversations from skype, access to their cloud servers). I really just wish you could disconnect it from the system.

Just out of curiosity, what was it about Ryse that you liked?

I found it completely unappealing because the game's slo-mo kills complete on their own even without having to press the corresponding button prompts. In effect, its gameplay consists of QTEs that you can't fail, which Microsoft's spokespeople defended by saying that it takes "skill and strategy" to be able to time the execution prompts properly and press the corresponding button. It feels like it was a game designed to be used for repetitive motions on the kinect, which was then scrapped for actual buttons and QTEs instead. Why even have the button prompts at all if it's just going to be a cinematic anyway?

Like me he's probably a fan of that Lore and to see a game of that Lore visually stunning drew me in. I'll be honest though, when I first heard about the game I was not interested because they talked about it being with Kinect. Once they said no Kinect, and I finally saw the visuals, I was like "gotsta have that." I just hope they deliver on the Lore and a very smooth and fluid game play experience. It was the first game I pre-ordered. I'm also interested in Quantum Break, although it's not coming until 2014. The concept grabbed me then I just read this:

Find in-depth gaming news and hands-on reviews of the latest video games, video consoles and accessories.

If they can deliver on this, I think this is going to be pretty darn impressive experience.

Anyways, honestly for me outside of Ryse, Forza 5 and Killer Instinct the AAA titles for both systems only tip the iceberg. It's that second window from launch up until March that is stronger. Sony seems to be pretty strong here. If I were into baseball games like I used to be I'd easily have ponied up for a PS4, easily. I will say the one game that intrigues me in that window for the PS4 is The Order. Looks interesting. I'm not out of the woods for dual consoles yet

Honestly, I'll have no problem going PS4. I just am waiting until closer to release to decide. Gamescom and other conferences will have more news/info.

Sony has yet to detail online gaming/features...I just saw the leaked video with the 2 guys and girl playing online.

I've admitted that the Xbox One hypes me up a bit more, but if it's not the right decision for me I won't make it.

I'm the type of person who researches everything expensive I buy very deeply...IMO the research is almost more fun, kinda anticlimactic when you actually buy something lol.
