EA talking about physical interactions/AI/Player Motion as top priorities for their sports games.

Games will be revealed in depth at E3.

Not that impressed as far as gaming is concerned. The focus is more on kinect, and tv which was to be expected. Dont need to spend that much for tv purposes. Unless microsoft shows a number of legitimate exclusives at e3 and not some kinect farse exclusives i will go with the other console.

That said, there's no point in being critical of someone with a more critical eye. Ultimately they are trying to persuade us that this is the one device you need and to give them our money.

After the reveal, Mattrick reaffirmed that games are the focus, just not for this event. E3.

I have to commit to 1. Just can't continue to feed 2 machines. It will all come down to E3 for me. Now I'm not saying I won't get both eventually as I'm weak, but my plan is one only at least the first year.

So far I'm leaning towards the ONE (Simply like LIVE better than PSN and more friends on LIVE) but we'll see how E3 goes.

The lack of backward compatibility will hurt for a minute, but I plan to keep my 360 for a while after launch obviously.

Reading up more on the used game blocking and the gotcha as far as always online.

By the time the systems come out all questions should be answered. But not looking good.

That's how strictly hardcore gamers are. The same ones that collectively laughed at Nintendo when they released specs for the Wii and thought it'd be a failure, and immediately wrote off Microsoft's Kinect. Anyone that's seen how videogame systems have progressed from one generation to the next would know that with each successive release, the improvements become less pronounced. Given the convergence of media, entertainment, etc. I don't know why some people would expect this to be all about games.

I guess since I'm older I actually liked a lot of the content MS showed today. It's not screaming must have/day one to me, especially if it doesn't have backwards compatibility - but I'm leaning more towards getting one today than I was yesterday. My PS3 is almost exclusively a blu-ray player so imo these systems can't be only about games. I thought it was a really good showing.
Yep I'm an older gamer with a family now, but I take a totally different viewpoint. I'm not impressed by voice activated dvr box or hand gestures to bring up the internet, or fantasy scores to come up on a split screen or using the smart glass ap on my phone. Getting the main TV is hard enough, so when I have that time to enjoy gaming, I'm not going to spend it thinking that saying "Xbox Home, XBOX TV" is really that cool - I'm going to want to play games in that time I have on the tv. So imo it's just a fruity way to press two buttons on a remote control. Just want a gaming console to use during that time, and I don't know that they touched enough on the gaming console part.

For used games...Essentially every game is linked to a gamertag now I guess.

We don't know what the activation fee would be though, will be interesting to learn as time goes on.

I bet Gamestop is a bit worried.
