Re: Xbox One
is MS including the VAT of around 20% in those prices? usually the VAT is includedI wonder if it is more evidence of EU pricing being a little higher across the board - http://m.techradar.com/news/gaming/c...-games-1164958

edit: just looked at Forza and it has VAT included, so no price difference, they just have tax included in the priceComment

Re: Xbox One
I personally like having batteries. For the money you spend on a play and charge kit you're better off buying rechargeable batteries. The rechargeable batteries last forever and you can use them to power other items in your house. Thats why I don't really mind the batteries.Comment

Re: Xbox One
same here. 3 years ago, i bought a four pack radioshack rechargeable batteries, and to this day they still work like new. But now that i use a cord controller, I just use the batteries for different things.I personally like having batteries. Re: Xbox One
Has anyone had a controller battery(built in) go bad?
I think I'm safe in saying that nobody uses the controller as much as I, and I've never had to replace a controller for anything except buttons getting sloppy.
Not having to take out and replace batteries(rechargeable or not) is much better IMO.

I was beginning to think no one else felt this way. I agree. Batteries are a hassle, albeit small.Has anyone had a controller battery(built in) go bad?

Re: Xbox One
Yes, my first SIXAXIS died. I didn't bother with the battery replacement guides and try to get Sony to replace it because they were finally releasing the real PS 3 controller then - the Dual Shock 3 and didn't see the point of replacing the inferior one.
I have energizer docks for both consoles, no replacing batteries here, and also no recharging cables, swapping batteries to recharge, etc. I just put them back on the cradles when I'm done with them.
Had a play and charge kit battery from the 360 launch die eventually before I got the cradles and extra power packs too.
Also, I'm a parent, batteries are a way of life, might as well own stock. Any way to minimize using them is a win in my house, lol

Re: Xbox One
I've had four of the official Microsoft rechargeable battery packs go bad on me and die. Those things are a waste of money and just stop working eventually.
After they died, I used eneloops in my 360 controllers, but I eventually bought a Nyko kit with rechargeable batteries and dock. I love the thing, plus the black battery packs go really well with my silver Halo: Reach controllers.Comment

Best rechargeable batteries available are eneloop pre-charged
Love them & won't buy any other brand

One of my 2008 six axis controllers always is "low battery". I can use it for about 5 minutes on a full charge lol.Has anyone had a controller battery(built in) go bad?

Re: Xbox One
I'm actually close to cancelling my Xbox One pre-order. I think the PS4 game line up is much better right now. I'm interested in Titanfall but I'm more interested in Killzone, The Order, and Planetside 2. Plus, I got my 360 to use for WatchESPN and the WWE PPV app. I think I'm going to wait a year or two on the Xbox One. I'm hoping to see another Gears of War and that's a game that I'd be willing to buy an Xbox One to play.
Edit: The one big thing that is holding me back is the fact that most of my friends seem to be going the Xbox One route. But I don't really play with friends all that much anymore so it doesn't feel as significant as it used to.Last edited by xcrushx; 07-19-2013, 08:47 PM.NCAA: Virginia Cavaliers
