FYI. If anyone out there is desparate for an Xbox 1 I heard that many stores might have a few on Sunday morning.

They are going to feature the XBox one in their Sunday ad and they might have held a few back.

Seriously I don't know if I can ever go back to regular tv again. I've been watch College Gameday snapped with Ryse and Forza all morning.

The only thing I was I could have is sound for one or the other. Is that possible?

I don't believe so, X1 needs to be on. I could be wrong though, for me, my X1 will always be on when I'm watching tv.

Funny - I think the exact opposite. My initial impressions tell me that games can get better on the XB1, but Sony can't offer was MS can and will in other areas.

In terms of an entertainment piece - I couldn't be more impressed by the Xbox One. As far as gaming goes, I'm enjoying the PS4 slightly more and it does seem to be the better gaming system in terms of performance. But it is also much hotter, prone to more failures from what I am reading (I've have had the system freeze on me twice) and feels more "bare bones" than the Xbox.

MS has a winner here. Simply integrating into my TV experience alone has me sold. Those that want to experience the future NOW will be doing so with the Xbox. Sony has a nice system that is focused solely on gaming while MS is offering much more.

But second this is my perception as well. I feel like PS4 is the blackberry of phones - they are very good at what they do in a limited scope, but the xbox one is an iphone and although it started pretty much just a phone/ipod with web, it eventually revolutionized how people interact with each other, day to day activities, businesses, etc

I think (hope) ps4 has the ability to adapt faster than blackberry, so I don't think PS will suffer the same fate. But I finally see what xbox is trying to do and the possibilities are honestly exciting and makes me want more.

So if I want to watch TV for 2-3 hours at night with my family, then play Xbox One for another 2-3 hours afterwords - my Xbox One has to be on for 6 straight hours??

My friend is having issues with his digital copy of NBA2K14, it took him 7 hrs to download and it still won't play. Any suggestions?

Back to your original question - here's 1 hint: Imagine something cool we can do with TV and your living room. We probably brainstormed it That means it was either cut because:
a) It was technically impossible/infeasible
b) It was too creepy to do
c) We didn't have time but we totally want to bring it back later

What about that Illumaroom<?> feature?? That looked like the most awesome feature ever but it got delayed, or did it get cut entirely?

thats probably why it is so big and well ventilated.....i wouldnt worry about it though as some things can stay on for years without issue, such as this PC i type to you now on...

I woke up to a refund of $11 for madden and $26 for the 2 Copies of call of duty i bought out of no where.

I look at there site noticed forza,DR3 and Ryse listed at $49.99 called got a $20 credit for Ryse and DR 3 that i had bought at $59.99. And was able to buy Forza for free

This is true - I guess I am still reluctant to do that with my consoles after some of the issues from last gen. You make a good point though ODogg.

I wouldn't really worry about heat issues with the xbox one, I left my system on yesterday from 8am until 1:30am and the box was still nice and cool. In that time I played 3 games of nba 2k14 , a few matches of bf4 conquest large with 64 players, 4 games of fifa 14 and a few series worth of races with forza 5. The system runs so quiet and smoothly with each game, I experienced no stutters at all. I couldn't ask for anything more from this system.

My system was on for 8 hours last night and already 3 this morning. It'll be on all day because I'll be playing games with ESPN football snapped in the corner. Seriously.... This is gaming heaven!
