I have an odd request. I use my 360 for HBO Go, but we don't use the Kinect for it anymore. Is there a way that you have the XB1 Kinect send voice commands to the 360, like pause and play? I don't need full Kinect functionality, but if it could IR blast commands, it would be handy.

Yep. Configure your Xbox 360 as a cable or satellite box in TV & OneGuide settings. Make=Microsoft, Model=Xbox 360.

Technically an unsupported scenario, but it should work fine.

My sons barely 30 day old Xbox One just died. It reads disk when it wants to too.

To say he's disappointed would be a understatement.

I'm not much of an online gamer or play many first person shooters, but Titanfall is the tits. Snuck a couple of hours in this morning before work and starting to get the hang of it.

Never a good time for that to happen but it seems that crap like that happens at the worse times like around major releases ( in this case titanfall)

He picked it up from Gamestop. I told him to snag it from Best Buy but he went ahead with GameStop.

Titanfall was the reason for grabbing The One when he originally had his mind on the PS4. I feel bad for the kid.

Good news for the console industry, and props to both MS and Sony for a stronger month than people expected.

Microsoft said it sold 258,000 Xbox Ones. Sony sold more, but it did not specify a number.

“PS4 led hardware sales in February 2014, but by a narrow margin with Xbox One selling over 90 percent of what the PS4 sold in terms of unit sales,” said Callahan. “However, with Xbox One’s higher price point, it led hardware sales on a dollar basis.”

The estimate for Sony sales was around ~290,000 from what I've seen, since I just realized it wasn't in that quote I put above. I think worldwide another 300-320k can be tacked on to PS4 sales because of the Japan launch? Who knows. It's a weak showing over there because of their economy and no library of games. Haven't seen anything about MS numbers overseas, period.

I want to see March's numbers.

I feel that Titanfall won't really move a lot of systems, I feel like it already has. MS wasn't really reaching out to a new audience at all with it - Titanfall is right in the wheelhouse of what the XBox-brand gamers have shown they preferred.

I think a lot of people grabbed their console for it already (obviously not all) but I don't really think there will be a sharp spike in sales. Who knows, I'm just curious as to how much it will affect their sales. If it's gonna be slight (like my uneducated hunch says) or if there will be another 100-200k systems moved.

edit: Same goes for Sony. I don't see inFAMOUS moving a lot of systems that haven't been moved already.
