Re: Xbox One
I'm getting really anxious for some concrete Scorpio info. Price, features, etc. I hope it has a feature that's comparable to PS4 Pro's boost mode. I'm trying to decide what to do first. Upgrade to Scorpio or pick up a PS4 for the Sony exclusives.XBL: Mean Greene

Re: Xbox One
Looks like June 11 is the big Scorpio reveal btw

Microsoft has announced it will take the lid off Scorpio at its E3 conference on June 11, four years after the Xbox One got taken apart by Sony during E3 2013. Scorpio, in many ways, is Microsoft’s first real chance to clean up the Xbox One baggage the company has been dragging around for nearly four years.Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Re: Xbox One
So, since I got re-orged out of Xbox and no longer work there, I'm a little less "in the know" but I totally thought you could have 2 external games drives connected and transfer files between them.
Is this something you've tried and doesn't work, or do we just think it doesn't work?
This is directed at ODogg and others. I don't know for sure, but I got the impression when working on a feature last year that this was possible.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Mixed Reality support coming to Scorpio. This was previously branded as Microsoft Holographic and covered their Hololens product.
This acer headset is part of the devkit going to devs this month.

Microsoft previously let us know that a range of its OEM partners with familiar names from the PC world would be building headsets that offer mixed

Given that, you can see how maybe something like Illumiroom could become a reality using this.

Re: Xbox One
LOL, I do that and y'all won't ever get more advice or insight.
I was gonna make a joke about where I'd end up working, then I was reminded of my favorite ways I've been trolled when helping people on the official Xbox support forums.
1) A customer was very upset that the Xbox didn't do 1080i output. First off, that's really weird and only a handful of crappy TVs only support 720p+1080i and not 1080p (and thus can be set explicitly to 1080i). Second, 1080i and 720p are literally the exact same bandwidth. Both are 1/4 the quality of 1080p and arguing which is better is fruitless. Third, it wasn't even an area I had anything to do with. I was all about HDMI-in and TV stuff. So, I got a private message from this guy saying this:
"still no xbox1 1080i output? a glimpse of u'r future. microsoft drops 160B in market cap. the next ceo(not the indian) sells xbox and all contents to those who use to run kinkos. first order of business, cost cutting. your jobs, on the chopping block"
I made up a fancy powerpoint slide with the user's avatar and gamertag, titled it "The Customer is Always Right" and printed this out to hang on the wall next to my desk
2) Being called "scumbucket" in the context of "scumbucket and his buddies are too busy playing beer pong to fix our HDMI-in issues." I politely let the user know that we prefer flip cup.?The Bulgarian Brothers - a story of two brothers (Oggy and Dinko) as they coach in the NCAA and the NBA.
