I was hoping you could but I won't know for a couple of weeks until Dell sends me my new drive to try it out.

I'm getting really anxious for some concrete Scorpio info. Price, features, etc. I hope it has a feature that's comparable to PS4 Pro's boost mode. I'm trying to decide what to do first. Upgrade to Scorpio or pick up a PS4 for the Sony exclusives.

Microsoft has announced it will take the lid off Scorpio at its E3 conference on June 11, four years after the Xbox One got taken apart by Sony during E3 2013. Scorpio, in many ways, is Microsoft’s first real chance to clean up the Xbox One baggage the company has been dragging around for nearly four years.

Somebody posted that it only worked with 1, i believe assuming it doesn't work with more. I confirmed a few posts later that it does. I often copy from the 5tb external on my home xbox to the external I use in the office.

Yeah, whoever said that caused me a lot of unneeded mental suffering (LOL) because it does support TWO externals per the official Xbox Support site:

"Note Xbox will recognize only two external drives at one time."

Mixed Reality support coming to Scorpio. This was previously branded as Microsoft Holographic and covered their Hololens product.

This acer headset is part of the devkit going to devs this month.

Microsoft previously let us know that a range of its OEM partners with familiar names from the PC world would be building headsets that offer mixed

                    Simple demo from last year:

Given that, you can see how maybe something like Illumiroom could become a reality using this.

Ha. No I am still on music. Basically, I got re-orged out of the Xbox org (no longer reported up through Phil Spencer) ~20 months ago. It was ~10 months ago I got taken off of the TV/OneGuide stuff and put on Groove. That's really when I started to get unplugged from what's happening in Xbox land.

LOL, I do that and y'all won't ever get more advice or insight.

I was gonna make a joke about where I'd end up working, then I was reminded of my favorite ways I've been trolled when helping people on the official Xbox support forums.

                            1) A customer was very upset that the Xbox didn't do 1080i output. First off, that's really weird and only a handful of crappy TVs only support 720p+1080i and not 1080p (and thus can be set explicitly to 1080i). Second, 1080i and 720p are literally the exact same bandwidth. Both are 1/4 the quality of 1080p and arguing which is better is fruitless. Third, it wasn't even an area I had anything to do with. I was all about HDMI-in and TV stuff. So, I got a private message from this guy saying this:

"still no xbox1 1080i output? a glimpse of u'r future. microsoft drops 160B in market cap. the next ceo(not the indian) sells xbox and all contents to those who use to run kinkos. first order of business, cost cutting. your jobs, on the chopping block"

I made up a fancy powerpoint slide with the user's avatar and gamertag, titled it "The Customer is Always Right" and printed this out to hang on the wall next to my desk

                            2) Being called "scumbucket" in the context of "scumbucket and his buddies are too busy playing beer pong to fix our HDMI-in issues." I politely let the user know that we prefer flip cup.

Does/will Scorpio support SATA III and fully take advantage of an SSD?
