I consider myself as more of a gamer now than anything. I dont have any issue switching back and forth. I grew up with Xbox so my preference is, and will always be Xbox. Even as I fully enjoy PS. RDR2 is the best looking game I have seen this gen on the 1X. I'm hoping Gears 5 pushes it graphically as well. Xbox just has the modern digital space mastered, IMO.

It's crazy to me how if I'm playing The Show on my base PS4 in the bedroom, and my wife turns the Pro on in the den to watch Hulu or Netflix I get booted. C'mon, man. At the same rate, me and my son christened the first day of summer eating pizza playing Gears 4 on different systems in the same house. We couldn't do that on PS without two different subscriptions.

The exclusive games thing has been beat to death. But since I have played or beat them all, I'm back on the XB more these days. For as strong as the 1X is I have been having a blast playing Mega Man of all things. A game I never got up on as a kid. That's the beauty of gamepass. I'm just gaming now.

I have a second account on the Pro which is the primary. It can play all the games, but it cant do anything online. Is it possible to share PS+?

Yes on the primary all users can play online, make the ps4 that your wife uses the primary. I have 3 ps4 the one in the living room is my primary, my grandson uses that one, then the other 2 i use to play online. The main account can play on any ps4. When you play the Show on the base ps4, sign into the main account.

I might consider a PS5 eventually, but for me it's just a waste of money to have to invest in multiple infrastructures (PS+, etc).

MS has been great with Game Pass and GWG, it lets me be cheap (not buying like any games) yet play stuff regularly as it's added to Game Pass.

My bandwidth is low as well, with 3 kids (5, and twin 2.5) with one on the way, so in the future that could get better a bit.

I'd probably rather buy a Xbox One X or something else vs. invest in PS5 though. Or buy a new tv lol.

Outer Wilds and Void Bastards are both on Game Pass (and out) now....Tried them each for a bit and they seem fun. Outer Wilds is a simpler space explore game with puzzles and uncovering a story which seems cool. Void Bastards is a FTL like roguelike where you invade ships and are fps to try and get stuff.

Nothing I read really said anything clearly, but this is what I got out of it when I was reading between the lines. If it wasn't I think they'd have said that because it'd be a big selling point.

On Xbox 360, starting June 1st, Portal: Still Alive ($14.99 ERP) will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through June 15th. Then on June 16th, Xbox Live Gold Members can download Earth Defense Force 2017 ($14.99 ERP) for free through June 30th.


NHL will be pretty awesome to own a version of, not sure about most of the rest or not

NHL19 is already in the EA Vault, it's great. Been playing superstar mode on that off and on since the playoffs started (once VGK got reffed out).

Spencer tweeted they have 14 Xbox Game Studio games to show off at their briefing, having just finished rehearsals this afternoon.

Yeah, a EA Access sub is on my list to get eventually....now just having a version I own will be nice for that momentary "i wanna play hockey" feeling.

Decent list...Some single player stuff, and I know it'll take a few years to avoid the totally Gears/Forza heavy lineup, but it's definitely progress. Some of these games just have to hit big time though, like that PS4 exclusive about the robots and all that (the name escapes me)
