Amazon (STEAM Code) has Hitman Absolution for 19.99 (Think that covers all areas to post it lol )

Steam has made me fall in love with so many Indie games...the same type of games I used to brush off a few years ago.

So yeah, never got around to trying the expansion to Civ 5. 2+ hours of 'one more turn' past my bed time and I guess I'll quit.

Anyone else play long sessions of Civ and never pick them back up, preferring to just start over?

Sometimes when I get to the "2-3 world superpower" stage, where you never make any real progress, I will start over.

I love the newer tech, though.

best pickup alongside Bastion and the Walking Dead during the steam summer sale had to be Crusader kings 2. I've recently gotten back into strategy games and this game without a doubt is a deep game. You can play at a variety of levels, either as a King, Duke, count, etc. It's fun trying to work your way up the ladder from a nobody to a powerful leader.

It's the kind of game where one shouldn't be surprised to see their half-brother attempt to poison their son in order to claim that he is the next in line for succession or to have another count fabricate claims against your title to your land holding.

Also is everyone here playing CIv 5 with the Gods and Kings expansion, is it worth getting?

Grabbing CIV V and expansions today

EDIT: Jusy bought. I'm determined to stick with the game. I think I have every CIV game and don't believe I've ever played enough of any of them to justify buying it. A.D.D. I suspect...

The add on is decent and I would say to get it if you can get it for a good price, but its not a must buy add on.

Gods and Kings got decent reviews and it's only 7.49 on STEAM.

The whole founding and spreading religions mechanism us great IMO. I was the US and spreading "Welfare" all over the world. That'd not a political jab, just the goofiest thing I could think of at the time to see cities adopting all over the place.

I disagree. Vanilla Civ V is a step back overall; however, with Gods & Kings, Civ V becomes one of the best Civ games of all-time.

The biggest problem with Civ V is still diplomacy and is why I'm still playing Civ 4. They finally re-introduced religion but leaving diplomacy as is was really disappointing.

Now that I fixed a problem with my video driver so it would run, Darksiders 2 completely stole my evening tonight. Fun game, wish more IPs were dropped into a similar mold.

FTL is so stupidly addicting! I put the kids to bed and told myself I was only going to play one sector...4 sectors and multiple upgrades later, the damn rebels killed me at the exit . Now I must avenge my crew!
