So if you guys were looking for Sounds of the Show and custom entrance music for WWE 2k15 and whatnot, you're prolly still out of luck.

I wonder if there is a way for Sounds of the Show/custom arena music can work with this MP3 USB functionality? If not, it's a waste of my time.

I guess for WWE you could theoretically just start up an song at the same time as a wrestler's entrance. This would be impractical (to say the least) for something like NBA or MLB.

I'm hoping in the future games will be able to access files on a USB the same way they accessed files on the PS3 hard drive so as long as you don't screw with the file names it would work. That is, if they don't add the functionality to actually store the files on the PS4 itself.

This is what I had in mind. I don't understand why Sony can't just copy the functionality that the PS3 had. It's really a bummer for sports games.

Sony has always sucked when it comes to networking and software. They do however nail the hardware side of things.

So do the the psn down times come often? It makes it tough to play nba when I have to be connected to play my player.

I try and steal a few minutes each day to play between work and getting my kids but that didn't work out today! Lol

At least 3 times a week every week. Some times it is down during the morning, some times the afternoon, some times the evening.....It varies, but happens every week at least 3 days out of the week.

Aside from regular maintenance this past month has been some of the worst PSN status I've seen in past couple years. Maybe I have a poor memory but when it's been down they've usually let you know ahead of time.

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong

But it seems crazy to me that I have to be connected to the psn in order to play my player offline.

I have call of duty coming to hold me over for a while and my stealing minutes won't work like this!

I've always wondered, does Sony add the extra days to our PS Plus subscription for all the time lost from maintenance? That's almost 2 weeks lost if they do maintenance at least once a month.

It was like that with last year's game. It frustrated me so much that I sold the game pretty fast and didn't rebuy this year. I think it is tied to the virtual currency.
