Forgot about the share play feature that was advertised when the PS4 was introduced. Also happy to see that Youtube will be available as a streaming option.

Really interested in how well share play works/is received given the issues streaming to a device on your own network many have (see: Playstation TV thread). Seems reasonable to expect this is leveraging the same mechanisms in use to support remote play.

Can you play multiplayer with Share Play, kind of like split-screen? Like if there is online split-screen in COD or whatever, can one machine play as one of the players and another machine play as the other?

Of course, that would be a bit counterintuitive if you're playing online (since you can just play with them anyway), but what about for offline games?

I also wonder if there is any Remote Play kind of lag...

I have the opposite feeling, way too many games about to come out that I want:

COD Advanced Warfare -11/3
Assassin's Creed Unity - 11/11
Far Cry 4 - 11/18
Dragon Age Inquisition - 11/18

And that don't include the maybe games

GTAV - 11/18
WWE 2K15 - 11/18

Same here. For me it's LBP, Dragon Age and GTA.
Eventually Farcry.
Pretty good range of games IMO to be excited about.

It was supposed to be in at launch, and was revealed to not make it in via that huge launch FAQ on the PS Blog 2 weeks prior.

I believe before that came out everyone was expecting it. This then led to the creation of that gaming-only Facebook profiles thread we had here for a while.

I am so bummed that I'm not really hyped about anything coming up. WWE 2K15 sounds cool, but I don't know if I really want enough to warrant a first day purchase or digital purchase. Other than that - the rest of the year is kinda meh for my PS4.

Seriously??? The entire year has been lackluster but the last quarter of 2014 (starting with Shadow of Mordor) is damn good. Including Mordor, I have five games and two games on my "50/50 wait and see" list. Either you lost interest in gaming or you dislike every genre. LOL.

Me too. The last quarter of 2014 (including Mordor) is where all the games that I want to play are coming out.

Mordor - 9/28, finished and traded in (8.5/10)
The Evil Within - 10/14 (currently playing, on chapter 7)
Assassin's Creed: Unity - 11/11
Assassin's Creed: Rogue - 11/11 (Xbox 360)
Far Cry 4 - 11/18
Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris - 12/9 (PSN)

50/50, wait and see -

Lords of the Fallen - 10/28
Dragon Age III: Inquisition - 11/18

Six games, possibly eight. And all of them need to be finished/completed before February because I have three games in that month alone and don't want to have a backlog like I do with Xbox 360. Before September, too much time, no games. Now, it's too many games, not enough time. LOL.
