That's deal kinda makes me want to buy. But sounds too good to be true. If it was a TB in space Id be all over this. But at 500GB. Meh.

An extra $200 bundled in and it's just a "meh" deal? Lol, well alright then. You could buy your own 1tb drive and still come out $100 in the positive.

Update: just refreshed the BBY app and the bundle is still showing up unchanged.

I'd swap my 2TB I have in my current system for the one in the Slim in this deal. In fact, when I get the Pro, I'll be taking that 1TB out and putting in the 2TB one I have in my current vanilla PS4, barring any compatibility issues.

I'm anticipating compatibility issues.....

Yeah lets put it this way a slim ps4 is 300 and that is without a game or with out headphones. Now even if you get a ps4 slim bundle with uncharted compared to this it is costing the same and that is with out the headphones. All ps4 slims are 500 GB now. Lets say you want to even upgrade to a 2TB hard drive. A 2 TB hard drive cost about 100. So if you buy this and then get a 2 TB hard drive that would cost you about 400. Then considering how much the headphones are worth I am sure you could sale the headphones if you dont want or dont need them for at least 100. That means then you could get a slim ps4, uncharted 4 and 2 TB hard drive for only 300. Now even if you do want the headphones you are not paying an extra for them. Maybe people are going to say I am crazy when I say this but I have never played a uncharted game before. If i didnt have a ps4 yet i would be all over this. I dont play online at all so i dont need the headphones.


So if i didnt have a ps4 i would get this and sale the headphones for 100. To be able to get a slim ps4, a game and a 2 TB hard drive for 100 less then it cost me to just get a ps4 when it first came out is great. Heck even if you keep the headphones and get a 2 TB hard drive it would cost you what a ps4 cost at first. So to be able to get a game, headphones and a 2 TB hard drive for the same cost that a ps4 cost just by its self when it first came out is amazing deal.

Reading these posts just made me realize that with the 4.0 firmware we're receiving next week, those who want to transfer data over from one PS4 to another can be easily done with just an ethernet cable.

The upcoming 4.0 system software update for the PlayStation 4 will add many new features, with a sneaky-big one being the ability to transfer data between PS4 consoles using nothing more than an Ethernet cable, the company announced today.

Hardly anything ever seems to go smoothly when systems launch and this is like a system launch. I'm hoping there's no issues. I'm hoping that my most up to date software is what the Pro ships with. But I just have this bad feeling that the Pro will have its own modified dashboard, own system software and I'll have to end up redownloading 1.6 TB's of games as well as going through all my saves in the cloud to pull down what I want on the Pro.

Stuff like that takes the steam out of the excitement train for me a bit.

I don't need another ps4, rarely use a headset, and already own UC4. I'm still trying to find a reason not to get in on that bundle it's so good.

It'll go back up in Nov when they offer trade in deals right as the Pro is releasing.

If anything, I would bet on it going down to $100 by then, actually. They're already promoting the $125 as some kind of a great deal when trading it for one of the new PS4s. Getting $200 always seemed unlikely to me, and now that we know that that would mean getting the PS4 Pro for basically half price, I'd say it's impossible. Trade-in value for the PS4 went from $375 in 2014, to $250 in 2015 and now $125 in 2016.

It's meh for me because I don't need the junk that makes this deal so uber unbelievable for you. 160 dollar headphones. Cools story man. I already have headphones. Only thing I could use is space. Which is why I said what I said. Lol, is that alright then?

Agreed. I don't remember saying it wasn't a good deal. But again, for Me, and My needs right now, this deal gets a meh. Don't care about whatever price Sony put on the headsets.
