Hdr for gaming!
This is bugged, you will have to manually up the backlight to 20 for hdr game content in gaming mode and back to 5-10 when you are done. Hopefully we get a fix soon
Set dynamic contrast to off. This can vary by preference. Off gives best range and detail.
Smart led is reccomended to be on high for hdr.


Your TV will post a message when it's in HDR (mine does anyway). The only thing I changed for mine is dynamic contrast to medium instead of off. Turn in on and even set it to high if you want a brighter picture.

That happened to me when 2K17 first released and I still had my vanilla PS4. I returned the disc for another copy, same thing. It was my hdd that was failing.

Got rid of it then bought a slim and eventually a pro as well.

Obviously the solution doesn't have to be as drastic as mine was. You can always buy a new hdd if that ends up being the cause of the issue.

Hu that makes me nervous to hear I just got a new 2 TB hard drive like 2-3 weeks ago.

Any one watching the PlayStation experience? So far they have shown Uncharted 4 DLC and a new Marvel vs Capcom game with the Marvel Capcom game being a 2017 game.

I didn't realize it was U4 at first but I have never played any of the U4 games before but when I saw that clip I was like man what ever game this is the graphics look great. The crash bandicoot remasters I may have to get I don't think I have ever played them before or if I did it was years ago and not much but I have heard good things about them and the remasters look pretty good. There was a rumor about a new batman and GOTG game being shown during the game awards and the GOTG did happened but batman did not. I wonder if we may get a look at a new batman game during this show.

I would love a MNR 2! It is like Mario kart only like 10 times better. The tracks where better and being able to make your own and download other people's where great. Would love a MNR 2 with longer tracks, underwater tracks, more weapons, day night cycle, dynamic weather.

PSX 2016 was a damn good show.

Uncharted DLC is a stand alone game according to Naughty Dog. I knew that was Chloe and Uncharted 4 but I was expecting Cutter on the roof. Didn't expect Nadine at all and im hoping that unlike the main game, she's not under or misused.

The Last of Us PART II is a brilliant move. Instead of it being a sequel or with new characters, a continuation is just so much better. Reminds me of the movies Halloween I and II. With that said though, like Shawn said, it's VERY EARLY in development. I honestly would have preferred to NOT see or know about it officially until it's a year or less away from being released.

Very happy that the rumors of Sucker Punch's new game turned out to be just that, a rumor. Hate seeing games that are two, three and four years away.

Aside from my own personal pet peeve, an excellent show. I must admit that I like the idea of E3 in June, PSX in December and skipping GamesCom and Paris Games Week. Makes E3 and PSX better overall shows instead of being/feeling watered down.
