I have read your posts and yes, im aware that you've made no comment on the Xbox One game's library. However, anyone who says that one console's library is bad has to include the other because they're both pretty much the same. But for argument sake, what's your opinion of the Xbox One's game library as of now?

Its pretty bad too. The exclusives are better but its not a major difference and it can come down to taste(if you don't like the FPS genre, you wouldn't be able to appreciate how great Titanfall is, for example). The fact that I play more NHL 15 on the 360 than anything on my XB1 is sad.I have read your posts and yes, im aware that you've made no comment on the Xbox One game's library. Re: Owners of both PS4 and Xbox One: Pros and Cons
I've been thinking of switching to X1. The PS4 is great and all but there's alot that bugs me about it.
-The store seems to just be getting slower as the updates roll out..it was great how it was when i first got it.
-The DS4 battery life is crap...I don't mind too much but it's annoying having to plug in the cord during almost every play session.
-The rubber on the sticks is terrible and is starting to wear out.
-A lot of errors..saves not being uploaded to the cloud.etc.
-Console itself is somewhat noisy..won't make a sound for a good 30 mins then just getting loud for about the same time.
I don't know how much X1 has changed over this past year..Comment

Sounds like you got a dud. My store loads instantly.I've been thinking of switching to X1. The PS4 is great and all but there's alot that bugs me about it.

I set the light bar on my controller to dim, since doing so I get 8 to 10 hours before needed to charge. I don't use rumble either.
The first batch of controllers did have an issue with the rubber tops peeling. I believe Sony replaced these for free if you are under warranty. Now they don't use rubber, no more issue.
I get the occasional can't upload error, no idea what causes it. Doesn't bother me I don't use or understand "the cloud".
My console is very quiet. The only time I even hear it is when I'm installing a game from a disc.
I don't use wifi on any of my consoles , I like them hard wired, so I can't comment in that issue.Comment

I've also set mine to the lowest dim but didn't notice much difference. Wish it could at least last as long the DS3, which i charge maybe once a month.Sounds like you got a dud. My store loads instantly.

Your WiFi speeds are directly effecting your PS Store loading. My WiFi strength is always at 100% and the store loads instantly for me as well.
I can't speak on the controller issue, because I rotate between 3 controllers. So the ones that are not in use are always on the charging cradle. I can say that I haven't yet had a gaming session that ran the full capacity of a given controller.

Re: Owners of both PS4 and Xbox One: Pros and Cons
I'm still leaning towards staying with PS. I've always liked PS more than Xbox and it would suck abandoning my account(level 12) and friends. Don't wanna have both either..too much money for 2 consoles with so much overlap.Comment

I think you should give the Xbox one a try. You might end up really liking it.. I always own both consoles because there's exclusives that I'll like on both.

Re: Owners of both PS4 and Xbox One: Pros and Cons
For gaming, I definitely like the PS4 better but like I said before, I think Xbox Fitness is reason enough to own the Xbox One. But to your point, if you preferred playstation over Xbox in the prior consoles then I think you'll definitely prefer the PS4 this time around even more.

Re: Owners of both PS4 and Xbox One: Pros and Cons
Anyone else find it ironic that MS calls it the Xbox One as in "the One" to do everything and yet the machine cannot even play simple background music without being snapped?
Maybe it should be "Xbox 75%" until it does the basics.
