Just because your TV is 4k doesn't mean it can do HDR. Make sure your set can do HDR. Hopefully they release an xbox that can do 4k gaming soon, thats when I will bite.

You'll get faux-4K gaming with the Scorpio, and that's the closest we'll get for the next 5-10 years.

Just got a 500gb S. No 4k TV yet. Don't know what to do with my Day One. It works perfectly.

That's what I did to avoid my son trying to hog up the living room to play. I put the old Xbox in the bedroom and problem solved.

Get any choice of free game with purchase of an xbox one s any gb model for free at Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop starting today

If you bought recently in the last week or maybe 2 I am sure Best Buy will give you game if you take receipt

I'm an elite plus member at Best Buy and within the 45 day return window. Thinking about returning my console and re buying it for the new game offer lol. Don't know if I fee like re-packaging everything again though.

Do you own a 4K HDR TV, want to watch UHD Blu-Rays AND don't plan on getting a Scorpio? Then yes, if you want to take advantage of all of that I'd say get one.

For me, I got a Xbox One S because it's one of the cheapest 4K players, and I'll be upgrading to a 4K projector by early march or so. Will move the S to the living room when Project Scorpio comes out..

If I don't plan on getting a Scorpio but I do plan on getting a 4K HDTV(more likely down the road in 2017)but don't care for Blu-Rays? Should I go ahead and just get the S or just get regular XBO?
