Seeing some tweets saying subscribers to the online service will get a free NES/SNES download per month, and NES/SNES games will have online multiplayer.

How was that not mentioned in this ....

Edit: kinda just sounds like a month-long rental.

Sony and Microsoft gives Plus/Gold subs PS4/Xbox One games for free every month and Nintendo is going to give us 30 YEAR OLD GAMES??? Really Nintendo??? My God. Just when you thought that they couldn't do any worse, they do. Simply wow.

At least I just saved a bunch of money by staying with the consoles I currently have. LOL. SMH.

Good thing that Nintendo has Zelda at launch because if not, this would be arguably the worst launch lineup in console history. Zelda and Mario look awesome as does that Square Enix RPG from those who develop Bravely Default for 3DS but the prices are just insane.

If someone was able to watch the live stream, what's the difference between the two available pre-order consoles (read there are two consoles on yahoo)? Did they mention anything about digital downloads (not having to switch disc absolutely rocks).

To my understanding it's the difference between the joy controllers, one are silver and the other set is neon.

Hoping Amazon preorders go up tonight so I don't have to pay for it now.

Just missed the Breath of The Wild pre-order on Amazon because Kinja Deals link wasn't an actual link to the game on Amazon, but a link to their page.

Zelda is in-stock again on Amazon. Just pre-ordered.

I am not sure if I am going to get this right away or not. Yes Zelda looks great but it is also on wii u and we don't know how much better if at all it may look on switch compared to wii u. Mario looks great but is holliday of this year and what if it gets pushed to 2018? Splatoon 2 I am interested in but they didn't say if its single player mode is going to be better then the first ones and it dosnt come out in till summer. So really if I bought the system day 1 I would be buying the system for 1 game and a game that I can already play on wii u any way in Zelda. When it comes to online play I don't really care has I never really play online but I think it is wrong that to play online cost any money at all for any system and I think it should be free for ever system.
