Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
How much are VC games usually? Seems expensive if they keep pushing out the Classic systems that get you more games at a cheaper price.
Hoping that once we sell our house and get a new one I'll be in the market for a Switch...possibly a tv *shhh lol*Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
The games aren't the draw of the classic consoles though, if they were people would just get a raspberry pi and have all the NES/SNES/PSX/Genesis/etc. games they want on one little cheap machine.badComment

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
Yeah, but still then they can't charge 10 bucks for a game that's included in a list of 30 on a $60 console, can they? I mean they can, just crazy expensiveNintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
After weeks of huntin I got my Switch today. Now, I shall wait for Mario Kart 8. Might cop Zelda.
When we were buying the Switch, the rep said something about an update that has to be installed taking 24 hours, any truth to this?PSN: FiSH_M3ATComment

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
I, however, have zero interest in a SNES mini.
There are a couple options here.
A) Nostalgia and novelty: the (x)NES-mini console(s). This is me assuming SNES-mini will be a thing at some point, but even if it's just the NES Mini it still stands.
B) Portability and ease: The Switch. Not even a question.
C) Having a collection of a ton of games from multiple systems for cheap: PC or Raspberry Pi.
I don't really see them overlapping at all, despite being kind of the same thing. The same reason I bought a USB SNES controller to play emulated games on PC even though I have a 360 controller that (aside from the D-Pad) works just as well for them.badComment

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
Sure they can. I bought Earthbound on the WiiU virtual console. I'll buy it again when it comes to Switch Virtual Console. There are a ton of SNES games I would buy if they do go up on the virtual console.

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
I think we'll have a new Loft area that'll need a TV, and we all know the best thing to do is a 4K tv for living room and shift all the others down the line lol We'll see. The Switch will be great for our son growing up, especially with the portability (once he doesn't throw things lol). My wife likes Mario Kart, so it'll get more use.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

LMAO, more a benefit. We got our house at a decent time, so will have enough to upgrade and get some money back. A lot will become our emergency savings, but we'll need to get some furniture or things for the new place.

Not sure exactly what we'll need for the space...we'll have to see. Right now we just have one giant room, which isn't great for gaming a ton, so having the tv a little closer will help.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
Puyo Puyo Tetris is AWESOME. Obviously a great version of Tetris but I've never played Puyo Puyo before, now I'm hooked. It's a puzzle game as well just different, if you've played Puzzle Fighter, it's similar to that. There's tons of modes as well. Even a story mode. I highly recommend the demo.
