Yeah I don't buy that. I wouldn't spend $100 more just for double storage. There would have to be a bigger incentive other than double space. With expandable storage, people would be better off getting a even bigger possibly faster storage for more.

Do you know how much SSD's cost? That would be their validation behind it. Although still very expensive, at least this is of more sound mind than when they were selling extremely expensive Vita proprietary flash memory cards that were not included with the device.

Yes, it would be better off for somebody to just buy external storage on the side, but I personally want to make sure that anything that is running my game (the OS and installs) are off an SSD. Game saves and multimedia can go on an external HDD, especially if it can playback/bitstream large H.265 files.

It was touched on a bit, but the sony boss saying he is "uninterested in making ps5 games play on the ps4" is without a doubt the right call. The companies making ps5 exclusive games need to be able to make them as good as possible without the limitations of a ps4. You also need to give people a reason to upgrade.

Oh I know lol. I have no plans on ever buying expanded SSD storage. I will make that 825GB stretch lol. I always delete games off storage after I'm done playing anyway. I typically focus on one game at a time. I keep save files, so i don't mind re installing a game if I ever plan to play again. I never had storage issues past couple generations.

The 825GB SSD for PS5 will be plenty for me as will the 1TB SSD for Series X be. Unless there's a season/expansion pass announced for a game that I know im going to play (such as Cyberpunk 2077 or AC Valhalla), once I complete the game, it gets uninstalled. The only aspect I keep are the game save files just in case an expansion or DLC get announced for it that wasn't known so I don't have to replay the base game again.

I have heard that rumor before but yeah the price for the 825 is odd not like 400-450-500 etc but 540 lol. I also don't see it being higher then 500. I am still going with 500. If there was 2 systems at different ssd size kind of like Ps3 and regular hard drive back in the day i may go with the bigger option has it might be a little cheaper then buying a ssd with how much ssd cost by its self. Its hard to know how long like 825 gb ssd will last. 500 gb on ps4 was a joke i had to get a new hard drive around 2016 and i have a 2 tb hard drive with around 600 gb left. I know with ssd games don't have to use has many duplicated assest and that could make games smaller but at the same time games are always getting bigger and more complex and more 4k stuff.

A small feature hope I said a while back that I hope is in the PS5 is added wireless earbud/headset support. With the whole Tempest Engine appeal, it seems best suited for headsets/earbud use to get most out of it. But I don't like using headsets and I don't want to bother with wired earbuds. I have nice wireless earbuds that I would love to use. I don't see the issue with them adding that support since the console will have Bluetooth support. Especially with having a toddler and most times I would be able to play is when she is sleeping, It'll be nice to just use one ear bud at a time.

Also, hope that they add back being able to download user files from devices. I miss being able to download my music onto my PS3 and just listen to it at times. I didn't care for the Media Player app and having to keep device plugged into the console.

I ended up watching a few reaction videos from a few big ps4 games on easy allies just to kind of relive some of the first reactions to big ps4 games has i like easy allies. I watched reaction to spiderman, GOT, Horizon zero dawn. I also watched some one who has worked on video games before and there reaction to unreal engine 5 demo and the GDC ps5 video to. Just so hyped right now.

June 1st -
> PlayStation 5 Console Reveal (short trailer to build hype for Thursday and show it off. If not, then June 4th because it's about to go into full production and they need to show it before it leaks)

No price or release date whatsoever. No pre-orders. All this will most likely be in August.

My release date and price prediction is still November 20th, $500 for when it does get announced. I expect pre-orders to be August or whenever Sony announces the release date and price. Short gameplay trailer equals under 5 minutes. Long gameplay trailer equals over 5 minutes.

Also expecting one official announcement in regards to a studio acquisition. My prediction is Housemarque.

I think they are seperate. Madden's trailer tomorrow will likely be a next gen version but with no direct affiliation with Sony. I don't think EA will be apart of Sony's event. EA Play Live is happening 6/11. So, I expect EA to save their games for then.
I expect Sony's event to primarily consist of 1st and 3rd party exclusives and 3rd party games who they have marketing rights to

Pretty sure that Microsoft has the marketing for Madden while Sony will have the marketing for Fifa. Madden will be a cross-gen multi-platform game so no one needs to worry about that. Madden is supposed to be "shown" tomorrow. I'm expecting a teaser trailer and they show much more on June 11th at EA Play.

I'm hoping the rumors for EA Motive's Star Wars game being revealed on Tuesday are true though. While im not expecting it this year, I would love to get another Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order type game. Just need shooting in addition to the melee combat and I may very well finally get my Star Wars 1313 game. Hehehe.
