It will be interesting to see how many games we see. Back with ps4 reveal we got i think 9-10 games but that was in Feb and we are in June. So maybe we can expect to see more with it being like a later start. Or maybe we will get more games shown in like August to, or maybe August will be more for seeing the system, price, release date, UI etc. Hard to real say i don't know back with ps4 reveal like how much of the time was spent on just showing games vs like talking type of thing.

Its just hard to say how much can be fit into a hour. I would think we would see some launch games, some 2021 games and some games that may not be to 2022 with just short teaser for those 2022 games. I know there has been talk about Sony may not want to show games with out really showing game play, but has long has some of the games get game play then showing some CGI trailers is not a big deal. At the begging of a new gen i think seeing CGI trailers and what is coming over a year from now you can get away with a little bit more has its important to not only known what is going to be on the system day 1 but also what is going to be on the system later.

Of course people are looking forward to sequels a lot but it will be interesting to see if any new IP are shown, and if so if any of them are big like gain a lot of hype. Of course ps4 got sequels like Uncharted 4, GOW etc but we also got a lot of new IP like death stranded, days gone, The last guardian, HZD etc this gen and HZD was/is big and i also think GOT will be a big new ps4 exclusive when it comes out next month.

I do believe that Insomniac is going to be Sony's best internal studio for PS5. I'm expecting R&C 2, Spider Man 2, a PSVR 2 game at some point and maybe a new Resistance game down the line. Insomniac is extremely efficient so seeing four games from them in an eight year generation (give or take) is definitely possible.

The new San Diego studio is heavily rumored to be working on a new Uncharted game which I do believe because that's kind of why they were formed in the first place. Plus, they have a decent amount of ex-ND devs there so it makes a ton of sense.

Haven't heard/read anything about the SD studio working on a space game. There have been rumors of Naughty Dog working on Savage Starlight which is said to be a space game based on those comics you find in TLOU. Japan Studio was also rumored to be working on RaySpace which was trademarked a while back but if they're working on Silent Hill which I do believe, I think that game is either later on or just done. But we'll see. Tomorrow will clear up some stuff because we'll know what some studios are working on.

You never heard of Housemarque???? WTF??? That's blasphemy!!! They developed Nex Machina, Resogun, Super Stardust, Dead Nation, Matterfall and Alienation. They also developed one of the generation's best platformers for 360/PS3 in Outland which was published by Ubisoft in 2011. Housemarque is great. From visuals to audio to gameplay and combat, it's like 9's across the board. Story and characters are fine but their games aren't based or focused around that. I have no clue what their new game is tomorrow but im hyped to see what it is!!!

Not true. They have shown their games on the Xbox E3 showcase and then have a more in depth presentation for the same game at their own event since it's always taken place after the Xbox E3 showcase. Far Cry 6 has been starting to leak and from what I understand, Sony has the marketing rights to the game. If true, im expecting it to be revealed 100% and then at the end, it says see the full reveal on July 12th. Only 27 1/2 hours to go!!!

Thanks. RE 8 can definitely have a PSVR mode but im not expecting Sony to talk about PSVR 2 until 2022. Gran Turismo 7 could have it added it at that time.

I thought about predicting The Order 1887 but every time I do, it never happens so I decided against it. I don't want it to be be a PSVR 2 exclusive though especially since it's a third person story driven cover based shooter. PSVR 2 compatible, sure but not exclusive. I'm one of the few that really enjoyed The Order 1886 and wouldn't want to wait months or a year just to play the game. I would have no problem with Sony acquiring Ready At Dawn as I am a fan but im not into VR gaming.

Yeah insomniac seems to be pretty fast. That also makes me think how long has ratchet and clank been in development if they are coming out with one on day 1? Ratchet and clank games have always had a pretty short time. Ratchet and clank on ps4 was like 10 months. Pretty crazy for how good it is. I think the longest that a ratchet and clank game has been in development is only like 16 months. By the time ps5 comes out it will have been like 4 years and 6-7 months sense ratchet and clank came out on ps4. Now i am not saying they have been working on it sense that with spiderman and some other games but even if only half that time it was being worked on it would still be like 2 years and 3 months or like 27 months total still like 11 months longer then any other ratchet game. In that kind of time it would be interesting to see just how good and how big ratchet could be.

Oh i think i was confusing Naughty dog and the new SD studio when it comes to the rumor about a new space game. Even so if the SD studio is doing Uncharted 5 depending on how far it is they may have another game after that on ps5 and if so maybe that could be a new ip in less they are just doing Uncharted 5 and 6. Housemarque i saw after you talked about them that they did Resogun. The other games you brought up i have not really heard of though.
