Just paid $1 to try out EA access on the ps5 and try out madden and fifa. The fifa is playing the ps5 version but I can’t get the madden to play next gen for the life of me. I just don’t understand why Sony made this so damn difficult.

The madden starts loading and stays in the loading screen with Lamar for me. I also get the “Disconnected from Server” message amd I can’t play the game. Anyone else have this issue? I’m able to play the FIFA but no luck with madden.

I got EA Access months ago and couldn’t even get Madden to work lol. A patch messed up Access. Their support is really bad sometimes.

This has actually been an issue for both series x/s and ps5. For some reason only the full version of the game works and the free trial version gets stuck on loading screen then when it kicks it to the menu screen you aren’t able to select anything. I googled it back in December when I had the issue. From what I have seen EA has known about it and says they don’t know what the fix is. Just don’t play your trial version until it’s fixed. Well it ran the trial version on both ps5 and series x for me to where I only had the game running g no longer then 45 min and it killed both trials saying I hit the 10 hour mark and never got a single game in.

Now I did buy the whole game on series x and that did fix my issue. But EA knows people were signing up for their service just to try next gen madden and from what I saw they dont care it doesnt work and want you to drop $ on the full game. Thankfully I got it for pretty cheap. But EA did piss me off with their response and acting like they have no idea just so people would by the whole game. But that’s another thread entirely.

Did you try deleting the PS4 version when it downloaded? I noticed that's how it worked with COD. So I'm not sure if that would work or not.

One thing I can say though, is that I like the game much more on PS5. Not only is the haptic feedback nice, but the QB cadence and pads cracking coming out of the controller speaker adds so much immersion.

A bit of a odd question on the main dashboard (where you can also select media) NBA2k doesnt have a icon for me. All of my other games do and it does on the little home icon where you close the game. Is that the case for anyone else ?

That's a sweet spot for the school year ending, baseball season ending and right before I start coaching football.

Looks like I have a week and a half to beat and enjoy it. Awesome!

I think Horizon FW will be out in November and GOW early 2022 than GT 7 in middle 2022.

Ratchet being June is perfect for me. January/February/March - Backlog from Nov/Dec. April is Outriders, May is Resident Evil VIII: Village and June is now Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.

I was finally able to snag a PlayStation 5 Disc Edition bundle from GameStop this past Tuesday and should have it next week. Will play Spider Man Miles Morales and then wait for Ratchet. But super hyped to finally have both current gen consoles as I am set for the next 6-8 years.

As for those other games, im going with Horizon 2 in February 2022, God of War Ragnarok in May 2022 and Spider Man 2 in September 2022.

For 2021, I see Gran Turismo 7 and timed console exclusive Ghostwire Tokyo being the PlayStation 5 games for the Fall/Holiday season. Plus, Sony will have the marketing deal for Call of Duty so in a way, they don't really need anything else.

Well like I said ratchet and clank not getting a update for has long has it did made it so launch window was like out of the door but I was still hoping for like may but may would be to close to Returnal I guess. Hopefully we get a date for Kenna now has it was said like just a week ago that it was still on track for q1 2021 but we are like half way threw q1 and we have not gotten a date yet. Spiderman 2 in September 2022 I think makes a lot of sense it will be 4 years from the first game then and it would be almost 2 years from first game to mm and from mm to spiderman 2. I am also looking forward to odd world soulstorm and that is supposed to be spring and heard we may get a date really soon and scarlet nexus I am looking forward to a lot looks a lot like astro chain one of my favorite switch games and its supposed to be summer. I just really hope we get Horizon FW this year next year is to Long to wait.

Nah. I rented madden 21 on GameFly and the ps4 version works, but when I load up the ps5 version it says trial because I signed up for EA access a couple of days ago and it still won’t work no matter what I do. This is so insane how Sony has made this so hard for someone to simply play a next gen version. When I try the next gen version it starts loading then says “disconnected from EA servers” this makes no sense at all.

When I clicked on Game version it gives me full ps4 and ps5 trial. Wth....
