No, I would try an indoor antenna, you can get a TERK one for like 20 bucks. See if you can pick up anything. Once you do, you should be able to put whatever you are watching on your HD input on, and then the OTA in PIP or vice versa.

Yeah, RCA makes HD antenna's as well. They're a little more pricey. Shouldn't need to spend more than $30-35.

OK guys. I have an extra Direct tv receiver. Now can I use that in the place of an antenna to get the PIP to work?

Theres no such thing as a HD antenna.. All antennas support OTA broadcast.. Just a marketing ploy to get ppl to pay more for a 'HD' antenna..

Yeah, I guess the old antenna I had was bad. It kept losing signals. Happy with the one I have now.

OK. So I have Narrowed it down to TWO 42" TV's.. im not spending over 2,000 for an HDTV. I need the HD and TV Gurus in here to show me the light between the two. Right now I'm kidna leaning more towards the Samsung DLP just because I have read that DLP TV's have some advantages over regular rear projection. Anyways, here are the two...check them out..show me the light..Im going to pick one or the other up in about an hour.

Do games look good on HDTV rear projection TV's??
