Re: HDTV Questions and Answer Thread
I"m just worried about having to pay an extra $50 a month for cable to get a digital receiver. Not sure if this TV would last me long enough to need to worry about that, but I just want to minimize the costs for extras after I buy a TV. I don't really like the idea of spending $500 on a TV then having to go out and buy a HD Receiver and Digital Tuner and some other things.
I'm just not 100% sure about the technology and what I will/won't need after I buy a TV, so any help is appriciated. Also if anybody knows any in the <$600 price range that is acceptable(I know it won't be the greatest because of my price range), please start suggesting them.

VGA cables support pc resolutions, components do not.. & seen a screen shot of about 4-5 different resolutions to choose from, even 1280X1024..
