Honestly, I don't notice any streaking, and there is very little blurring. The only time there is any sort of blurring, is when there's a quick action sequence in a dark setting. Overall, I'd highly recommend the LG.

You'll get that in most LCD's anyway.Comment

Yeah, that's what I've seen out of all LCD's, but I love the LG. It looks really sleek as well. Completely black, with a glass bottom... very nice.
After having the 61" Sammy, the 32" just isn't really cutting it right now though. I'm going to hold off buying something else, but you don't realize how much a larger TV spoils you.Twitter - WTF_OS

I agree that once you have a larger screen, there is no going back for your main TV.Yeah, that's what I've seen out of all LCD's, but I love the LG. It looks really sleek as well. Completely black, with a glass bottom... very nice.

Every TV is different, and if his TV has been calibrated, those numbers could be waaaay off for yours. Just something to keep in the back of your mind.Comment

Re: HDTV Questions and Answers Thread
I think it does make the regular SDTV look better to have it off. To be honest I didn't notice much difference with the HDTV. I do know for video games it is a lot better to have it on. Also the game mode on the Samsung really sucks IMO. There is no need for it anyways as the frame rate is fine without it.Any other feedback from you turning off Dnie? Re: HDTV Questions and Answers Thread
These are the base setting before any calibration was done. It also depends too on the lighting of the room + how far away you sit from the TV, etc.
I just posted them since he was looking for some settings or someone else was and can't recall.Comment

Re: HDTV Questions and Answers Thread
Oh, I know. I'm just saying. The settings one TV uses, even though the same brand, even with the same room settings, could be completely different. They all get shook differently when moved, and other things could be off.
I can't recommend professional calibration enough, it's the only way you're truly ever going to get your set "perfect".Comment

Good point on that professional calibration. When I get the money, I would love to get this Sammy calibrated, I bet that this thing could give one helluva a picture if done right.Oh, I know. thanks for these settings, i'm going to try these out for awhile. right now i'd only say that the screen looks a little darker than i'm used to but the colors do seem to look better, more vivid.Any other feedback from you turning off Dnie? Re: HDTV Questions and Answers Thread
ODogg, when ever you change settings, especially if they look darker, turn your set off, and go do something else for the night or at least a few hours. Since you had your set brighter or with different settings, you aren't going to like it and end up changing back. It's best to let your eyes wait on the picture, and then go back to it fresh without the old picture fresh in your mind.

Re: HDTV Questions and Answers Thread
Yes, that is a very good point, well I'm not going to be here after the Senior Bowl is over anyways so maybe that will give me time to adjust. I'm heading down to BW3's to watch the Buckeyes/Michigan State game there with some fellow Bucknuts. When I get back maybe i'll be a 'clean slate" in that sense.ODogg, when ever you change settings, especially if they look darker, turn your set off, and go do something else for the night or at least a few hours.
