I love CRT, but man the one I want weighs like 185 pounds and if CC delivers it, they have to bring it up 3 flights of stairs, and if I move I would have to lug it out too, I want a sony, let me know what you think.
stay away. those have bad screen door effect. if you are going with a Sony, go with the SXRDs or the LCD Bravia'a.

The Olevia 32" is a great TV, it is nice to see that it's no sale since they go for $899 normally. Gaming on there is just a beaut.

        I wouldn't buy anything that wasn't 1080p if I you have a HD-DVD / Blue Ray player.

This guy really know his stuff, good read for people who still swear by CRT.

With all the hoopla around the new fixed pixel units - which is all we hear about these days and which of course is just what their manufacturers want, considering how expensive they are - it's easy to lose sight of tried and true triple-gun CRT technology. IMHO, it is still the best. It...

I'm still happy with my CRT that I've had for about 4 years now. I've had it professionally calibrated and it looks really nice. The only thing I'm not too fond of it is the burn-in potential and viewing angles.

                I thought CRT's can't get burn-in's, how are LCD with Burn-in's?

LCD's do not suffer from burn in.

That tv right there actually has me pondering going forth with the TV purchase. But I still think I'll hold off for a while.

well not being too concerned right now, eben though I own the PS3, I really don't care to much for 1080p, I mean if somthing was going to be broadcasting in 1080p in like the next year then i would say yes to 1080p set, but nothing will be broadcating in 1080p for like 10 years or more, so why get 1080p now. Anyway, does anyone have or would settle for any of these two set below?

Frank, I own the 50" Samsung with the 1080P and so does ODogg. As we've told you man, these Samsung DLP's aren't bad. I really like mine and like I said before if I had the money for the Sony I would have bought that one, but the Samsung is sufficient enough for my needs.

I thought you originally wanted that 46" Samsung.
