I'm liking the general opinion on Vizio. I see some at Wal-Mart that are cheap and the price almost looks too good to be true. Might have to scoop one up soon!Comment

Re: HDTV Questions and Answers Thread
I have the Vizio 47' 1080p LCD. It is incredible gaming in 1080p, the extra detail is immediately noticeable over my old 720p 42' Vizio LCD. There is truly nothing even NEAR its price/quality level, leaving Vizio in a class by itself. As a reviewer said, "Vizio is the cheapest you can go without sacrificing quality."
I am still grandfathered into Costco's old return policy so I will likely upgrade to the Vizio 52' 1080p LCD when it drops in August (with $200 off coupon).Comment

Yeah man. Vizio is one of the rare cases where "too good to be true" actually is.
I'm loving the PQ, especially on the 360 with the HD DVD player adon.Comment

Re: HDTV Questions and Answers Thread
I was hearing that 720 wasn't that much different from 1080. I'm gonna be upgrading from a SDTV to a 720p HDTV. Should I really consider the 1080, is it worth it? I'm really leaning towards 720p. I'm gonna have a 26" TV in my 2nd bedroom for gaming only.I have the Vizio 47' 1080p LCD. It is incredible gaming in 1080p, the extra detail is immediately noticeable over my old 720p 42' Vizio LCD. I have the 42" 720p LCD from Vizio where vision meets value. I love it. Great t.v. especially for the price. Got it at sams club for like 1099 or 1199. The 360 looks great on it. Would definately recommed VizioComment

Re: HDTV Questions and Answers Thread
I just recently had to make the same decision. After extensive shopping, viewing, & reading, I decided to go with the 720p. I just didn't see that much of a difference in the picture to warrant spending another $500 - $600. Screen size also comes into play. I just purchased a Samsung 46" DLP, and am very happy with it. You might wanna check out Amazon.com.Comment

I am sure the HD content is top notch on this set...how are the non-hd channels? I am always afraid the larger sets will really amplify just how dirty some of the non-hd transmissions are...and probably 70% of my viewing is on these non-hd stations. I have digital cable for non-hd channels, but some are still a bit "off"...http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=5623473

I've got a 37" Vizio and I like it....picture quality is great for me, though I bed that a total visual god type person could find flaws in the deepness of the black or whatever. My eyes aren't that good lolI am sure the HD content is top notch on this set...how are the non-hd channels? I know...just saying that true videophiles can probably appreciate the quality upgrade in a 2000 dollar Sony vs. Vizio, but to me the Vizio has great quality and was much less expensive at the size I got.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: HDTV Questions and Answers Thread
Turns out I'm getting 2 TV's for my new apartment.
One will be a 32" Vizio
For the living room what TV should I get?
42" Vizio
50" Vizio
47" Vizio Gallevia
Let me say that I'm not a big movie guy.
The 32" will be mainly for gaming, and for a guest.Comment
