    Artist: Bizarre
Album: Blue Cheese & Coney Island
Producers: Nick Speed; Dub Muzik; Silent Riot; Alphabet; Kidd; Rencen; A Piece of Strange; Seigel J. Bass
    Release Date: November 2nd, 2007

I didn't think I would like this one. I'm not a fan of D12 rap and listening to Bizarre may be stretching it, but I did find some good tracks on here. "So Hard" is a nice change in lyrics and approach, and in my opinion is easily the best song on the album, but you get some funny ish as well. "Animal" and "Wicked" have some creative hooks that are nice to listen to. "Welcome to the D" has a banging beat and has a funny skit at the beginning.

Other than that, the album isn't very good at all. It would be one thing if Bizarre had some kind of flow that set him apart and helped us tolerate all his weird rap topics, but he can be awkward with it sometimes. It sounds more like talking offbeat than rapping. Don't pick this up. Download the song below though.

Has anybody listened to the Statik Selektah album? I downloaded it awhile ago and I'm listening to it now, it has some good beats and a lot of good features.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Does this album have the Big Shug song that samples Mike Tyson Punch Out?

I was digging it half way through, that's all I got so far. That 6 in the Morning beat is nuts. I like that synth remake of Bam Bam. Good stuff, just gotta get the rest. Only thing that bothered me a bit was too much Termanology. His voice is so annoying.

How is Termanology annoying? He sounds just like any Puerto Rican rapper, so if you like Punisher, Rhymescheme, Fat Joe, or even Nas because of his neighborhood influence, there shouldn't be any problem to liking this guy's voice. Ok, he doesn't sound like those guys pitch wise, but the difference certainly doesn't make Term's voice annoying (although this is opinionated, I'm just voicing ). I also think Termanology is great lyrically. I would welcome more cd's from him.

The beats on this album are very nice. I'll try to review it soon.

EDIT: Agreed on the "6 in the Morning" beat... fire.

He doesn't sound like Pun, Joe or Nas though. They had power in their voices, a real presence. Termanology sounds too nasaly (I don't think that's a word?), too generic. I guess it's just not there for me.

He doesn't spit garbage and he gets good beats, so he is ahead of the pack. Someone doesn't get that much love from important people without doing something right.

very true... he's taken great care of by his producers.

Noone has a better entourage than Statik Selektah tho... I still can't get over these featured artists.

Yeah he has everybody, Nas, Royce, Styles, Q-Tip etc. I was really surprised when I listened to this.
