    Re: Comic Book Fans....

I've fallen so behind the new 52, it's not even funny. I think I burn myself out trying to buy and read maybe 15-20 of the titles. Haven't read or purchased a comic in about two months. I picked up Irredeemable vol. 1 (Boom! Studios) and I'm hooked. I thought it was a one shot trade but I've come to find out there are many more volumes. I recommend checking this out if you are looking for something other than typical Marvel and DC titles.

New York Giants (8 NFL Championships-4 Superbowls )
New York Yankees (26 World Series Titles)
New York Knicks (2 NBA Championships)
    Michigan Wolverines (11 National Championships)
New York Rangers (4 Stanley Cups)

Remember to buy Nightwing this week if you've been following Batman but not that. It starts off Night of Owls.

I've read the first 2 issues of Smallville Season 11 and so far it's going well. They have done a nice job of bringing the characteristics that the actors brought to each character into the comic. I liked the way that today's issue ended leading in for next week.

2 issues into AvX and I'm already bracing for disappointment. Then again I'll probably be disappointed if it results in anything less than Scarlet Witch saying 'lots more mutants' while hosting the Phoenix or something.

Just want some lasting non-stupid affects.

Picked up Thor 1-4 during Marvel's 99 cent Maonday sale they have ever week. Pretty good. Not a big Thormfan but they have been a pretty good read. Anyone reading the current issues? If so how is it? If it'S still pretty good I might start picking it up.

I thought the first issue was just O.K., but the second issue, IMO, was a major improvement in bringing to life the T.V. show personas of the characters.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Yeah the first issue was ok but this last one really took off well, loved the cliffhanger at the end of it. Can't wait for this weeks. As far as comics I recently got myself an iPad2 and am using the comixology app, I have caught up on all the Action Comics for the new 52 wanting to start on Superman and Batman as well.

With The Walking Dead Comic/Show I have recently gotten back into the comic. I just bought Hulk Shattered Heros 1 & 2 because the cover art looked cool and I like the idea of getting in on the 1st issue. So what is the story arc on this series of Hulk?

Also bought the variant edition of Avengers Assemble...I assume that this is a release in parallel to the upcoming movie?

Any info the comic aficionados can add would be great. Thanks!

                        Google could've told you.

"Shattered Heroes" is a comic book crossover storyline published by Marvel Comics beginning in October 2011, that follows "Fear Itself" and explores a number of implications across a number of titles.

The separation of The Incredible Hulk from Bruce Banner and his attempts to make himself a Hulk again at any cost.

Just got done with the first two trades of Criminal (which was phenomenal), now where is the cheapest place to get the rest of the series? Amazon or by digital means?

They're in the standard range at 22 pages and only cost $1. I haven't read them,is there something there besides comic?

The Incredible Hulk book is actually quite good right now IMO and isn't too bogged down in continuity which kept me from reading it before when I really got back to reading comics a couple years ago.

AVX could either be really good or really crappy, maybe Marvel will surprise me but i'm not holding my breath.

As for the other crossover event these days, I gotta say Court of Owls is shaping up to be a real doozy!
