Another newb question: Do you need the backing boards for TPBs?

I've got a few TPBs, including a few OOP ones, that I'd like to keep nice. I bought some thick bags, but the books don't fit with the boards. Is it OK to keep them in the bags without the boards?

I wouldn't know but you'd think with TPBs and OGNs that the best thing to do would be to keep them on a bookshelf.

That's what I've done. I've got them bagged - sans board - on a bookshelf.

Are there any good Wonder Women centric TPBS out there?

I wasn't a huge fan, but I know a lot of people raved about the Azzarello/Chiang WW story. I think that took up about six TPBs.

Soo, anyone actually looking forward to the third installment of The Dark Knight Trilogy by Frank Miller? I'm actually dreading it. The first was a masterpiece, the second showed some of the excesses and was really one long right wing political tract within the comic book format. Knowing how badly Miller's last Batman project fared critically (All-Star Batman & Robin) which was Miller at his worst i'm just afraid this Master Race story is going to be torture to read.

I guess we'll see how it goes.

So earlier rumors were true, the terrigen mists permeating the atmosphere are sterilizing and killing mutants and they'll be fleeing to 'someplace safe'.

                  Erm, what?

Shouldn't that be a spoiler or something?

Not sure it really is, that's the context for the new X-Books, and is spelled out in the preview panels for the first couple issues.

Spider-man: Renew your Vows was a total let down... along with Deadpool's Secret Wars. Along with Age of Apocalypse Secret Wars... 1,2 were good but 3 was kind of a mess.

All these Secret War arcs started really well but now are getting kind of dull\pointless. Hope the main Secret War arcs closes well and clarifies a lot of things.

Yeah, the throwaway nature of these really comes through as they wrap. I've really liked Infinity Gauntlet but a couple frames (or lack of panels) kinda irked me, will type later when not on my phone.

Had low expectations for Vows, actually liked that book mostly. Planet Hulk was good but predictable/throwaway.

I'm so pissed at Marvel basically exiling the X-Men. So lame. Just because they don't have movie rights so they can push the inhumans as the "mutants".

In a year or so maybe we'll have blue and gold inhuman teams. In-Force, New Inhumans, etc [emoji14]

Yeah the ancillary Secret Wars books have been disappointing as hell though Spider-Verse and Star Lord and Kitty Pryde were both excellent.

I will NOT be reading any of the inhumans crap. I just have no interest in that group.

I too was fatigued by the ancillary SW books. Can't really point to one that has wowed me. Civil War would be my favorite one.
