It's not that they did a bad job with it....it's just that i feel it was out of context to do it that way. The movie felt so real up to that point. So real. Then all of a sudden - BAM! - here's a half-cartoon version of Two-Face. Up to that point Gotham felt so real. Suddenly it became a cartoon.
Still I loved ev'thing up to that point and the rest after that wasn't all bad, but the scene under the freeway with Gordan was really streched out, awkward and not well written. And the fact (or opinion) that the weakest scene in the movie ended up being the last scene, it left a bad taste in my mouth.
Joker was brilliantly done.
