I thought they did a good job with it. Its not like it was the focus of every scene with him from the hospital until the end.

It's not that they did a bad job with it....it's just that i feel it was out of context to do it that way. The movie felt so real up to that point. So real. Then all of a sudden - BAM! - here's a half-cartoon version of Two-Face. Up to that point Gotham felt so real. Suddenly it became a cartoon.

Still I loved ev'thing up to that point and the rest after that wasn't all bad, but the scene under the freeway with Gordan was really streched out, awkward and not well written. And the fact (or opinion) that the weakest scene in the movie ended up being the last scene, it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Joker was brilliantly done.

Out of context? I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to get at with Two-Face. Was your big problem the actual CGI of his face or what?

I thought the exchange between Batman and Gordon to end the movie was amazing and wrapped up all the emotions and the complete atmosphere perfectly.

Out of context? I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to get at with Two-Face. Was your big problem the actual CGI of his face or what?

I thought the exchange between Batman and Gordon to end the movie was amazing and wrapped up all the emotions and the complete atmosphere perfectly.

Yes I had a problem with the CGI of his face.


The scene with Gordon and Batman at the end was cool but I was specifically referring to the whole scene with two-face and gordon and his kid and batman and gordon's wife...that scene sucked

The only problem I had is how Dent became somewhat of a big baby post-half-face-burn. Everything was "... just like Rachel did," "... just like how I loved Rachel," "... say sorry as you watch your loved one die, just like I had to."

Unfortunately most of this movie was probably scripted and filmed before Spider-Man 3's reception about rushing Venom, and had they known some stuff before I feel they maybe could have added a good ten more minutes of substance to iron out Two-Face more so it's a bit more realistic in a way.

I thought that scene was amazing. Very, very tense and really portrayed Two-Face with a very twisted sense of justice.

I still don't have a problem with the CGI. Yeah, that picture isn't good to look at, but in motion and cleaned up it looked a lot better in actual movie.

I thought the visible bone was over the top and a bit cartoony. He would have looked better with just a really burnt face. Still, I thought they did a good job of making him look disgusting.

I agree that scene was awesome, I really love the part where he tells gordon " Tell your boy he's going to be alright. Lie like I Lied" it was very twisted.

I finally saw this tonight, what an amazing movie. I love flicks with great villains and this one is at the top of the list. I'm not into buying/collecting DVD's at all but I think I'm going to pick this up.

exacly, that's all I'm saying...it was too cartoony and didn't fit the rest of the movie b/c the rest of the movie wasn't cartoony like that. Imagine if Joker's smile was CGI or if batman's motorcycle was cgi...two-face's burnt side fit in more with Speed Racer than batman.

They should have just hired a really good makup artist to make him look naturally burnt, with puss and sores and scars, etc. Two-face's burnt side in this movie looked like a perfect diagram of what your muscles and tissues look like under the skin, like some kind of drawing in a medical book.

It just totally snapped me out of the perfect fantasy that had been created up until that point.

That's what I loved about Batman begins and movies like Punisher...it's like "this could really happen."
