Didn't the preview of the next episode have a fat guy saying hey, my name is Sylar. So, no I don't think it's Peter.

I think the guy that you could only see part of his back facing the fat guy was saying his name was Sylar, but I agree that I don't think Sylar is Peter.Fan of....

Re: Heroes (NBC, Mondays @ 9PM)
For anyone who wants to start watching the show or have missed the first couple shows; there is a Heroes Marathon on this Wednesday on the Sci Fi network. Even with the legal battles with the first show it says on my tivo that they are showing the pilot starting at 7:00 pm.Comment

Re: Heroes (NBC, Mondays @ 9PM)
I'm very confused about Hiro talking to himself in this episode. Isn't there some kind of law about the same matter not being able to occupy the same space at the same time or something like that? I know it's a show but wouldn't this cause some kind of rift like Future Shiro alluded to?
Lol, maybe I should watch the whole episode before speculating.
Also, my wife said something about the Jessica persona of Nikki's actually being her dead sister's. Turns out she was somewhat right.Last edited by trobinson97; 11-27-2006, 10:33 PM.PS: You guys are great.

Re: Heroes (NBC, Mondays @ 9PM)
I hate when networks say someone is going to die in the next episode(s). They think it will make people watch but it only makes the characters death less meaningful. I'd be a greater impact if you didn't know what was going to happen.Today I realized something. I'm a clown. A class clown... and it sickens me. - Bart Simpson (The Simpsons)Comment

My speculation on the evil grows stronger part... Sylar kills the black guy, therefore he is immune to mind control, and even gets some of his own.Comment

Re: Heroes (NBC, Mondays @ 9PM)
Still interesting that they didn't show how exactly Sylar got the telekinesis from Brian Davis.
I guess we can assume he eats his brain, but I think Sylar does have some sort of power that he's probably unaware that he has. The whole thing about having a gift for that sort of thing (ie: knowing the clock was two seconds off) screams foreshadowing.
Besides, why would Mohindar's dad be wrong? He thought Sylar had a power and why should we assume he doesn't.
I'd prefer to think that Sylar is able to look at people's brains and figure out how exactly they can use their power. Probably not the best way to explain it, but I don't think he eats brains."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

"Great Scott!" = Priceless
Anyway, pretty good episode. Sylar wasn't who I thought it was, at all. Thank you IMDB.
Not a lot of big revelations, but it filled in some gaps and puts Claire's father back in the shady area with me.

I don't think he is eating brains, I think he is looking at them to find out what is "wired differently".
On a sidenote, my buddy is a Horologist and a huge Heroes fan. He is SOOO geeked that Sylar is a Horologist. We actually call my Buddy "The Watchmaker". He's floating today.Listen to The Remodeling Clay Podcast!
