Yeah it was in the freaking 70s. Do I mind it? No not really but I also want it to be cold. I want some snow. None yet here in NJ. None expected in the foreseeable future.

It appears we've cornered the marked on snow this year in Denver. We've still got drifts 2-3 feet deep from the last few storms, it hasn't warmed up to melt it.

I think there has been maybe 8 to 10 days of actual "cold" weather down here. Though it's pretty funny to see people bundle up like eskimo's when it goes under 40.

            40's to 50's here.

Though weather in the 30's or below and snow would be awesome.

We all know how much I bitch and moan about Southern California's weather so I'll spare it this time..

I'd KILL for cold and rainy weather.

The fact that Colorado is getting such an abnormal amount of snow while the rest of the country is getting nothing is just more proof of global warming. All that precipitation that usually falls in the Northeast is being displaced to other places. The fact of the matter is that the weather patterns we've been seeing are not normal and probably not good for the environment.

Bingo. Tell the people in Denver it's global warming, LOL.

Amen, I just got back about an hour ago from Triangle Town Center... Short skirts in abundance, baby... Love this weather, I'm glad I probably won't have to shovel another inch of snow for the rest of my life.

I worry with this weather being so nice that something really bad is coming.

That's because everyone in the media always perpetuates that "something bad is coming" constantly. No wonder 2/3rds of Americans have high blood pressure. Why not enjoy what life brings at you instead of always suspecting something negative is going to result?

High 60s in northern Virginia, absolutley lovin it! I cannot stand the cold, and I hate the snow even more.
How I wish, how I wish you were here. We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl year after year. Running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here.

It's called Mean World Syndrome. What you see on TV makes you think that it is infact as they say... in reality, TV is only partly accurate. Mostly it applies to how violent you think the world is. Say you see a lot of killings being reported on TV, you tend to think the area around you is very violent. When in fact, in most situations, the violence in your area is about normal, and in check with the rest of the world. Same can be applied with weather, constantly hearing about how something bad will happen or that the weather is bad, when in reality, the weather isn't that bad, and we have a long way to go before something really bad does happen.

Well that's the theory for the most part, and I think it applies to how Candy and others may be feeling.
