I got my XS today but decided to swap it for the Max even before I opened it. Mainly because I looked at a true size comparison on Phone Arena and the body is almost the exact same size as my 7 Plus and I like that form factor and didn't want to go smaller.

I have arthritis in both hands and I text a lot and my hands did well with the form factor of the 7 Plus so I think if I go smaller and more narrow it might be harder for me to text and cause pain.

Now I got two extra days to wait, ugh. I think it will be worth it though.

I just need to find a nice case since I will probably drop it. But I'm gonna get protection from Square Trade.

Got my Max yesterday and OMG this thing is amazing. Turns out it's the perfect size for me and just a thing of beauty. I love the OLED screen. I put a transparent Spigen case on it which I feel adds the perfect amount of protection but still shows off the beauty of the phone. I went space gray btw.

I also put a glass screen protector on it which I've never done. But for the price of the phone I figured I should. I also got a warranty through Square trade on it.

Face ID is working well except for one time my phone just wouldn't do anything. Wouldn't come out of a back screen, but then did after a minute. other than that, it's worked great.

Overall I am super happy coming from the 7. I can't wait to dig into the camera and compare it to my DSLR. I hate lugging that around so hopefully I can get some nice pics with the phone that can compare.

Any suggestions on what to do if an iCloud storage is full but the person who's using it doesn't want to pay to increase storage(ironic, willing to pay around 1k for computer, tablet etc, but not $1 a month for extra storage lol)?

Apparently despite the phone not being on optimize, old pics from the cloud are starting to look low resolution. Not sure if that's a permanent change or something easily undoable.

I've suggested just getting a USB drive which you can find good ones for under $10 for 32gb. More than enough for pics and videos. If iCloud gets full, transfer pictures from there to a drive. Not sure how Mac storage works,because I never like backing up pictures on just 1 spot.

Dealing with someone who doesn't know much about technology, but I'm not an apple user. I'm thinking my USB suggestion is fine since that's what I do, and also have these same pics on my computer as well as double protection. But when explaining that to them, it sounds like too much work for them,and what if they lose the USB.

I managed to free up over 10gb on their phone from clearing cache, but that won't help their cloud problems or allow them to access pics from other devices.

Ya, that's what I've said. Around $1 a month for 50gb extra. They have the default free 5gb plan.

Way more than they'd ever need. But somehow they seem to think they don't need to do that for some reason.

Another thing is deleting pics from their phone. I don't know much about Apple things, but how would you know if you can delete pics from phone but still have it on iCloud (if it's there to begin with)? And about the low resolution stuff, what could be the reason behind older pictures showing up lower resolution? Optimize is off. Maybe it was on at some point, but it's off when I checked, so old pictures should be same quality as new ones.

Just came back to Apple again. Got the XR after having the note 8. Loving this phone so far.

Glad to be back in the Apple ecosystem again with my phone. I have Applr TV and an iPad Pro so it just makes things easier.

Only complaint is I wish it had nightstand mode by default so I could see the time at night instead of having to use a third party app.

Welp got my first iPhone. Took my wife to the apple store and we both got XRs. I got coral and she got blue. Liking it so far. For this to be their “budget” option it’s a damn good phone.

I also just got the XR. The battery life on this in insanely good. Not bad for the “budget” option.

Apple getting rid of iTunes. Looks like they're replacing it with 3 different apps. Music, TV, Podcasts (probably could've had music and podcasts in 1 like spotify has).

Well they already had those three apps they’re just implementing the purchase functions from iTunes in to them.

I picked up the 11 Pro (non-Max) on Thursday! I was using the XR. I like the slightly smaller form factor. The canes should be good too. I think finally they’ve stumbled onto something that I could use for a couple years. lol

I have the 11 pro max love the battery life and that camera is nice
