I bought the 2-Disc Casino Royale Collector's Edition, and supposedly it contains a code for a free Quantum of Solace ticket, but I'm not finding it anywhere (including the inside of the shrink wrap). Anyone know where I'm supposed to look?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it does not come with the code on it. Mine didn't come with one either and it came straight from Sony PR. The original 6 Bond films that were released on Blu came with a code.

Did you have a sticker on the package that said e-cash?

It's $19.99 at Sears this upcoming week along with Wanted, Hellboy II, and Prince Caspian. Prince Caspian is utterly amazing on Blu-ray, demo quality on the picture and audio.

Why is it always warm 2? To me it makes it look a sandstorm just hit whatever it is that's on there.

I prefer Warm 1, but it's a natural look. You're probably just so used to your "TV" temperature that you forget what real life is like. There isn't a blue tint in real life, and things really have a warmer look to them than you may think.

The problem comes when the director's artistic intent does not agree with your settings (Live Free or Die Hard is a good example). The contradiction can make things quite ugly. Most of my friends are bothered by their not being used to this, so when I watch movies with them, I have to set it to Normal. Ugh.

Thanks for that info, GeonosisX. Does Sears' "week" start tomorrow? As for Casino Royale, I've read all online, plus professional reviews, that it came with the e-Cash code. I kept the plastic wrap that it came in, and there is nothing.

I don't remember having movie cash with CR either. I may have an extra one laying around.

I'm looking at the Sears website now, and Hancock is $31.49.

LOL I'm getting a blank on your post. Makes me think you're referring to Bond's gun when you're saying that.

Anyway, here's the link I see it on:

These settings are a little darker than I am used to, but the foreground seems to pop out, to me anyway. My 7 year old daughter is complaining about it being too dark but the rest of us thinks it is fine, lol. Taking the sharpness down to 0 makes a huge difference.

Give it a few days, and everybody will forget that you've changed the settings. Not only that, but you just saved a few years on your TV as well.

It's gonna get some getting use to. If you need to up the Brightness a little then do so. Just don't up it too much to where your BLACKS look GREY. Whatever you do don't up the PICTURE setting. That setting is the actual CONTRAST setting. Upping that setting can cause Image Burn-In on the TV.
