Re: **Official Blu-Ray & HD-DVD Thread Part II**
I rented TDK on SD-DVD for $1 at a DVD Express kiosk. Was awesome in the theaters and very very nice on a Panny plasma. Can't imagine the blu ray experience in 1080p and lossless audio.
I'll pick it up when it drops to the $15-16 range.Comment

What do proffesional calibraters do? I have seen it cost $300-$2000 to get it done. Is it something computerized or what?Comment

I like how people think I'm out to hate on this movie. It's my favorite movie of all time, I'm just disappointed that Warner has botched all of the Blu-rays that I have bought (Ocean's movies, 300, Matrix, etc.).Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: **Official Blu-Ray & HD-DVD Thread Part II**
Anyone can do it. My brother is a computer tech, and he got the same calibration disc that someone posted earlier in this thread. It took us about three hours or so to do it on his rear projection screen, but when it was done, you could see a HUGE difference. I took his disc and used it on my own LCS TV, and got the same result. Both of us use 720p televisions. I haven't seen a professionally calibrated TV, but I doubt it could make that huge of a difference over doing it yourself.Through music, you can live forever...TEAMS: San Diego Chargers, San Diego Padres, Notre Dame Fighting IrishComment

Man, I wish you had posted this before I plunked down the coin for the Ultimate Matrix Collection. I foolishly trusted the reviewer at HDD who boasted of its "********* five-star video rating," but next time I'll wait for the true test of an image's quality - The Blzer 32" Test.Helen: Everyone's special, Dash.
