Yeah, BoB on blu-ray was $35 late Fall 2008. It was the first blu-ray purchase I made. Awesome deal.

Re: **Official Blu-Ray & HD-DVD Thread Part II**
I got Casino Royale collector's edition BD for 13 bucks on Best Buy dot com. We're talking the Bluray not the standard DVD version.
On a different note since someone mentioned Casino Royale. That is the only BR I want that I can't get for less than $30 in stores, Either edition. I have a policy to never spend more than $20 for a BR and I've gotten alot of BR's because they've gone down in price quite rapidly and I see many good mobvies I want in the $15 range but not Casino Royale. Quantum, no problem, got it for $15 but CR's price never goes down in stores.Comment

Drag me to Hell has to best the Reference BR out right now. Simply beautiful both in Video & Audio. Not to mention it's a great movie. A must buy IMO..
Trick R Treat for me is now the Halloween Movie Cult classic to watch. It has replaced HALLOWEEN on my chart. YES it is that good.

I don't think it could ever replace Halloween for me. I watched that last night on BR and it just gets better and better.

Yep. It's been hovering around $13 for a while now.
Just wish Friday or Paycheck would dip to the $14-15 range.Comment

Splurged on some new and used blus the past 2 weeks (all under $12)
12 Rounds $12
Natural Born Killers $10
Saw 1-5 $7 each
American History X $10
Pinocchio $10 new
Snow White $10 new
The Good, The Bad, The Ugly $10
Taken $12
Side Note: Finally got around to opening my first stand alone blu ray player, LG BD370. Very impressed, especially with being able to stream netflix and youtube content. Obviously not HD quality since it's ultimately dependent on your internet connection but is a nice luxury to have.Last edited by GAMEC0CK2002; 10-19-2009, 05:38 PM.Comment

Wow! That's some insane deals there. All Saw movies for $7 each?
Crap, man. Good snag.

Yeah, a guy on another message board was cleaning out some blus he doesn't watch. I had passed on the Saws for $40 shipped but couldn't refuse $35 shipped.
I like mindless action, so 12 Rounds was a safe $1 redbox kiosk choice. Haven't watched the blu ray version yet though.
Several amazon.com vendors have 12 Rounds for slightly less than $11 shipped.Comment

HDD forums.
Gohastings.com has it for $12.XX + $3 shipping. Last week they had a 30% off blu ray promotion going which would have made it right around $12 shipped.Comment

Re: **Official Blu-Ray & HD-DVD Thread Part II**
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen comes out tomorrow. I'm going to rent it for all the guys jealous of my set up haha. Don't like the movie though so I'm not going to buy it.
However I'm saying this because there's a lot of confusion as to which version is the one with the preserved IMAX footage. I haven't been paying attention to it too much but supposedly it's a Wal-Mart exclusive version known as the Big Screen Edition. It has a different cover and everything, and should be more expensive than the regular edition.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
