SP is a steal at that price.

Anyway, I'm stepping up my blu-ray experience having ordered a new TV and Onkyo 7.1 HTIB. It should make SP, TDK and Lord of the Rings even more amazing.

I just want to say that Band of Brothers and The Pacific are glorious on Blu-Ray. My wife's been yelling at me to turn the volume down on the surround sound. The explosions and gun shots just sound awesome. The PQ is great as well.

I love BoB. I bought it and resold it a year ago (somebody gave me an offer I couldn't refuse). Got another copy a few weeks ago. Still awesome.

Yet to check out The Pacific.

It's a must watch. I believe The Pacific is rated higher than Band of Brothers in PQ and AQ. It deals more in the psychology of war and is brutal. You'll develop a new sense of appreciation for our military.

I got BoB on BR for Christmas but haven't felt like getting into yet.

I watched most of the mini-series back when it first came out, but I'm looking forward to the blu-rays.

The Pacific was great on BR. From what I remember of BoB i liked it a little more though.

Enter BOOYAH to get 96 cents shipping (per title) on Blu-rays. I wonder if you can still get that 30% off as well (unless that promotion is already done).

                        The new blu rays thread

Wasn't sure if the old blu ray thread got swallowed up by the Movies you've seen recently thread. Anyways, saw a couple good buys if you haven't picked these up before. Amazon.com has several 3 packs for $14.99

Extreme Action 3 Pack Blu-ray Release Date October 6, 2009 (Live Free or Die Hard, Ronin, The Siege). Blu-ray reviews, news, specs, ratings, screenshots. Cheap Blu-ray movies and deals.

Muscle 3-Pack Blu-ray Release Date November 18, 2008 (Alien vs. Predator, Predator, Commando). Blu-ray reviews, news, specs, ratings, screenshots. Cheap Blu-ray movies and deals.

Marvel 3-Pack Blu-ray Release Date November 18, 2008 (Fantastic Four, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Daredevil). Blu-ray reviews, news, specs, ratings, screenshots. Cheap Blu-ray movies and deals.

Sci-Fi Three-Pack Collection Blu-ray Release Date October 6, 2009 (Jumper, Independence Day, I, Robot). Blu-ray reviews, news, specs, ratings, screenshots. Cheap Blu-ray movies and deals.

It's been pretty slow on quality blu ray releases of late.

I'd be all over the sci-fi one if I didn't already have Independence Day and Jumper.

I would be all over that Marvel pack if it wasn't the worst marvel movies made in the last 10 years.
